Looks like I too have the 99.9% syndrome. I cannot for the life of me find this final spot.
For those of you gracious enough to assist, I'll say this: I have tried at least 4 times to scrape the spot highlited in the version Wobrak provided, to no avail. I also have similar symptoms with the small bit just outside of SF, as well as the bit in Copperhammer and Tasca's Demise. Anyone have this issue before?

The only spot I'm not certain of is the Thirsty River one, which may have been clouds...hard to tell in the desert.

if your talking about the hedged/vined section you cant as far as im aware as tat used to be a enterance to an arena but since they all moved to the battle isles they have been locked.

The mini-map "U" is the only one that doesn't show clouds.
Why the differences between my map and yours? I'm using my own Tyrian map for the comparisons which means I may or may not have the same areas uncovered. Clouds! Since taking over from Dougal I have noticed the clouds can make it appear as though an area is not uncovered. Even when using Difference or Color Burn. Nothing is ever perfect.

Your screenshots are too small. Retake your map shot at either 1024x768 or 1280x1024 or 1600x1200 then repost here.

Here's a quick comparison for ya. The red circled areas require further exploration. Also due to alot of cloud cover I couldn't tell if you have totally cleared the back area of Abaddon's Mouth.

Okay I get that the mini has the no cload thing. But the 100% map from guild wiki I use has no clouds in it. Did he take a screen shot of his minimap?

I know I have 2 spots in THK that have to be cleared. But that should only account for about 0.1. I ran the edge there but couldn't clear the map. Is there a trick to it? It's the very top where the mursat come from. I ran out there but didnt really clear anything. Please take a look at my map and point out where im suppose to get that last 0.3%,lol.

Yeah it is still possible since my Tyrian Char could not access all the arenas before they were closed and I still got my 100%. Just have to keep going and find those spots you missed

It is not required to map the arenas to acheive Grandmaster. It is possible for Canthan characters to achieve Tyrian Grandmaster.

I looked at the difference map you posted. Alot of the areas in that map were circled on the map I posted for you. I'm not sure what it is you want. If you want someone to verify the maps are different, they are. If you want to know why they are different, it's because I use my own Tyrian map for comparison and I may or maynot have more uncovered than the map you used.

Okay cool I understand what your trying to get across. The way I am looking at the map is that the bright areas are the ones I am missing...I look at your suggested areas and there are no bright areas in the jungle and in kryta that you circled, only in the shivers and it is some of those areas like the water at Ice Caves north of the first boat that I dont know how to access. Is there a trick to getting over there?

I'm having some trouble getting the map to send right. Either the picture is too small and the file size is ok, or the map size is good but the file size is way to large. With me map straight from screen shot to uploading on this site, the file size is 2.25mb vs 19.5kb. How can i shrink the file but not the picture. (one other note, i don't have photo shop.)

I don't use the difference method as suggested by LuxA (post link), instead I invert/color burn as suggested by Sister Brianne (post link). The missed areas in The Wilds and Kryta show up alot better.

Tyrian 100% is a tough title, got mine last night and I have to say this is the title that gives me most pride, it is a lonely old trek - but again - reading these threads always gave me hope.
My tips for Tyria - in particular for old tyrians (like myself), dont overlook the obvious! My last little bit was in Dez, an area I had convinced myself that I had scraped!!!! Also, extreme east and south east of pockmark fields - checking different maps - I was convinced area was clear - even a difference map didnt obviously hi-light anything - but on a re-scrape using "wiggle" pushed about 3 new spots.

While looking at your map I circled the corner of Sorrow's Furnace and Snake Dance. You may not need this but due to extensive cloud cover I couldn't tell if it was uncovered or not.

Please remember to hold down shift when taking screenshots of your maps. The pins marking towns etc make it a bit harder to find some places
