I am still woefully stuck at 97.8%; I went thru Ice dome, hugged snake dance, and did THK with NO change in unfogging. the only thing i know for shure that is missing is the frost gate mission (rurik's path) but i can never seem to get there. I *did* solo it with my R/N though....

Anyone knows how to uncover this place (north-eastern bit of the Frost Gate)? I see it uncovered on most of the maps but can't uncover it - I've explored the whole area around using the nocrotic traversal trick but there, nada.

EDIT - I have now 99.7, thanks to Luciora's analyze - however I'm stuck. I've compared with the other maps posted here and I can't find any difference. Could someone have a look at it again? Thanks.

EDIT 2 - Nevermind, I have 99.9% now and I know where to get the last 0.1%. Thanks for the help!

"Tyrians cannot enter the two mission on Shing Jae (with the exception of some glitch a person claims to have found which I have not seen). This has an effect because both of the missions there turn into explorable areas after you complete them. Hence, those two explorable areas are off limits."

This is a load of rubbish! Tyrians can! 3 of mine have bizarre posting

They couldn't just after the release of Factions. Anet fortunately changed that shortly afterwards.

A plea to Anet: please please please make the arenas available for exploration in Tyria. I'm working hard to become 100% Tyrian grandmaster cartographer, but I haven't gotten the chance to visit all the arena's before factions came out and everything got closed and placed on the Isles of the Unnamed.
I need to be able to explore the arena's and the island where the guild halls used to be. Make it a boat trip from Lion's arch just like before, call it the Tyrian sightseeing boat trip, I don't care. please Anet, let us explore 100%!

OK. I need help. I have done the Dunes bonus, The Wilds, Prince Rurik's path in Frost Gate, and the Great Wall areas. I am stuck at 98.1%. Seeing how much I have to uncover for a mere 0.1%, I am having a hard time figuring where all I need to go to unlock 1.9%. Could you guys please help help? The map is 1280 x 1024. Thanks!

@ CandyPrince - The Canthan starter missions were at first closed to Tyrian chars since your character would be at a higher level than the missions really provides for. This has been changed though to allow us explorers to find a few more %'s

@Sjeng - I highly doubt that the Arenas will be opened again. They have no use anymore and you do not require them to obtain Grandmaster Cartographer. I've only ever visited the Ascalon arena and the arena at Yaks Bend. You need to put in a bit more effort to make up for the loss of the other arenas but it isn't all that bad in the end

Hi everybody, I was hoping you guys could help me out. I'm at 99.9% and I know where to get the last .1%...but I don't know how to get there.

If you can't see the image, it's the bend in the big island in the Ring of Fire Islands on the soutwest side. I've done abbadon's mouth mission+bonus twice and couldn't get it. I've also played on the beach in hell's precipice; got the fuzz right next to it, but obviously not that part.

Edit: Nevermind, I got it. I just didn't hug the beach hard enough in Hell's Precipice.
