?I thought I posted here once, lol.

Taurucis - a name I created. I liked the consonant blends. Used as a last name for all my characters.

Kai - My warrior. I used the name Kai because it's slightly similar to mine, and with the correct tonation, translates to "Anger" in Chinese.

Gryphon - My ele. A variation of a "griffin" which is a creature that is a cross between a lion and an eagle. I first spelled his name Griffin Taurucis, but someone asked me if I liked Family Guy and I remade him. He's dead handsome too

Cairn - My necro. I wanted a "necro-ey" sounding name but could not find one, so I snatched it off a Jade Armor boss named Cairn The Destroyer.

Ard Ri - My ranger. Supposed to be spelled Árd Rí and I believe it means "High King" in Celtic. When I saw someone else with a char named Ard Ri something I went ballistic.

Shiarra - My mesmer. Generic female name. Means nothing... I think

Mara - Monk? Mara means "bitter" in some language, I forget which.

Fallenstar - Paragon? This name may take some explaination. It is based off the series "Warriors" (It's about a forest full of warrior cat clans) and uses its naming system. It's kind of like two adjectives/nouns put together. The ending "star" is reserved for leaders. My Paragon (if I ever get to make one) is supposed to be a warrior cat turned human. She had a horrible life as a warrior cat and was given the name Fallenstar when she became leader of her clan. She was turned into a woman by some freak accident.

Wilhelm Mae - Only current character.
-Wilhelm represents one of my two middle names, and also my late father's given name.
-Mae, just sounds nice doesn't it.

Wilhelm Brehon - A past character, it's just my middle name in full.

All random PvP characters just take Wilhelm Goes Necro/War/whatever...or of course Brehon Version Two.

Kind of a weird story on how I got all my "poo names".
I always had problems thinking up of user names, so when I bought Guild Wars, I just thought up of the first word that came up in my head, since I just walked my dog, the first word was "poop", and it continued from there.

My Mesmer "Hexslinger Slim" is a nod to the RPG Deadlands.

"Barrow Black" was the name of a villian from the free Exalted promo starter adventure.

The other two I just made up.

My ritualist's name is Iwanna Viagra. I dunno. It just kind of made me feel special in a warm, fuzzy, and naughty kind of way.

Now, you may know me and my views on Latin, and you may not. But if you have read this thread chances are you'll know how much incorrect and just plain wrong Latin annoys me. It's nothing personal against the perpetrators; it's just something I can't abide. I won't pretend my Latin is great, so feel free to send me angry PMs regarding why and how I erred in my corrections. So...

Not quite. Curo is "I cure", so if you mean to say "I cure death" nex must be in the accusative case - "necem curo". If it's supposed to be "cure for death" than it should be "medicina neci". And I don't know if you at all care but nex means more a violent, homicidal death than death in general, which is mors.

This could as easily be a failure in my own knowledge, but I'm fairly sure neither of those are words. Sanitrixx is a strange spelling in any case - would it derive from sano, sanare? Medicas resembles medicina, a cure, or medicatus, a charm.

Vae is indeed woe. Or rather, Woe!, because it's an interjection. Nefastus/a/um means forbidden or unholy, but it's an adjective, and should be in the dative case (with a noun!) if it's the object of Vae. Vae Nefastibus Capitibus would be woe to the unholy ones(' existence).

Cookies for you. This is correct. It means skirmisher (archer) of the element. Actually, elementorum would be of the elements, plural. But it's still correct. Have a cookie.

These sound made up. I could be wrong.

Caelestis is actually an adjective, not a noun, but the name still works and is, if I may say so, quite beautiful.

Phaern Majes - Ranger - no reason just the first name I use for every game I play, or at least Majes.

Runner Number One - W/Mo - guess what he was made for :S

Master of the Thorn - E/A - got it from Oblivion which I was playing at the time Huzzah!

Malevolent Curse - N/W - my only survivor char right now, my guild name at the time was Malevolent Awakening so I gave him the first name and despite the name he is Axe and Blood not curses.

Shuriken Star - A/(W|R|Me) - name wasn't used so thought I'd take it.

Nimble Dodger - Mo/(W|Me|E) - I figured monks usually have to kite at some point name seemed appropriate.

Istani Warlord - D/W - Just wanted a nightfall related name.

Acolyte of Gwen - Me/E - just made it still below lvl 5, but fast casting firestorm! Sorry have to do something related to Gwen I won't hold it against anyone who refuses to let this char into their group

Abaddons Harbringer - P/ME - Again nightfall related.

Shao Caycan - Rt/Mo - no clue I hardly play him, just keep him camped in the Deep.

Addled in the Head - PVP - Just a fun name, cause if I lose I can say I'm addled and can't think straight atm

Pharsic the Hunter -ranger, my main char; named after an table-top dnd char I once played. He was a ranger/warrior dual flail wielding bounty hunter of sorts

The Ku Kai -monk, made him to try my hand at 55'ing hardly ever play him though... named after a character from the anime "flame of recca". A mispronunciation (sp?) of the name got me the name I use in pvp: Oh Kooky Pvp

Wanda Vision -mesmer, not really any thought behind this... it sounds pleasant I guess.

Eulisinian Mystery -ritualist. I started playing again when factions came out and while waiting for the box to be delivered I came up with this name. It's inspired by this: Eleusinian Mysteries, but I altered the spelling a bit.

Sybillia Impetuous -paragon, first and last name are taken from a list of names that belonged to a ship once called "Paragon".

Aspect of Babalon -necro, I had a necro once called Daughter of Loki (in norse mythology she is Hel who governs the same named land of the dead) but I deleted her. I decided to play necro again but found the name had been taken. So I did some wiki-ing and came up with this: Babalon

Arya Maero - necromancer - song of sorrow
Raven Zohari - paragon - raven of hope (as ravens generally symbolize evil or a bad omen)
Alexia Luna - warrior - guardian of the moon
Alayna Soren - ranger - undeniable beauty
Alyssa Shyama - mesmer - wisdom of the darkness
Malaya Phasmatis - elementalist - free spirit
Madison Leilani - dervish - heavenly strength

Heres a couple of mine, i come up with different reasons for different names.

Silhouette Eyes - R/Mo - I choose this name based on one of my favorite songs by thrice "Silhouette". I wanted Silhouette in the name, and i chose eyes, beacuse i have always thought rangers have intriguing eyes (I suppose beacuse of the mask, all you see on the face is the eyes).

Elysian Seraph - Mo/W - It means heavenly angel. I thought the name was beautiful, and the monk is beautiful, and well monk = angel? it works.

Malefic Mistress - A/Mo - It means Deadly Mistress, but deadly mistress was taken, so i used the word Malefic, it sounds good with mistress, and shes a sin

Seductive Glow - Rt/Mo - It has no real meaning behind it, but I thought of it while making her, When i see the rit dance, i think its seductive, and with the collectors edition, the spirits behind you kind of glow almost .So i based it off the dance really.

Exotic Seductress - P/W - My first nightfall character, and she looks exotic to me. Just different. She has much darker skin than my other characters, and white armor - Seductress beacuse she has a certain look about her. Its just sexy.

Poisoned Faith - W/Mo - I chose this beacuse, her secondary was going to be monk, So for some reason i thought of faith meaning monk, and poisoned to go along with killing.

Dire Temptress - D/Mo - based off of the meaning of dire, and temptress beacuse it sounded nice with Dire

Little Big Town - Mo/E - Well thats based on the band, Little Big Town I had just saw them in concert about 3 days before i made her.

Megan Deathlove - N/Mo - She was my first character, so i had to give her my name Megan, and deathlove beacuse she's a necromancer.

I have 3 others, but their names really have no meaning, just something i came up with beacuse i couldn't think of anything else.
