/signed only because it really should not be hard to program a dye color. and white IS A basic color since it is the "combined" total of all colors. Black is the absence of color.
White + black = gray, which could be a new mix as well

canthan armor doesn't take very well to the white dye mixture. The only real result to white dye mixtures is the tyrian collecter's armor and that stuff sucks. I want the canthan armor to respond to white dye but it acts as a mixture with the brown underlying color which is stupid, that's like using clear what's the point? I want a white dye and maybe you could consider giving it an equal drop along with black dye to stop all of this nonsense..... I have never gotten a black drop and I sure expect that I get a white at least once for a change!!

Oh and dye drop-rated need to be upped. No way should they cost almost as much or in many cases more than the items being dyed. If house paint cost as much in relation to houses bare wood would be pretty popular...

Alright, I'll /sign, but only if they make the silver dye actually make armor shiny. I'd say straight silver remain the same, kind of a greyish color, but a little shinyer. But when you mix it with other dyes, it doesn't change their color, only makes the dye a shiny version of that color. Then white would be the lightener. Nice...

my sin is in green and staying that way. emperial armor looks all mortal kombat. But most mage classes would look real nice in white.
I also agree with the posts to make dye more common. besides, if you look at history, blue was far more expensive to make as it was crushed lapis (yay blue flowers being discovered.)
also brown dye would be cool. The eles (earth) would be interesting.
