As long as its more common then every other dye out there for the first 2-3 weeks so that prices don't get a chance to spike.
Either that or make it customized to the character and have it be a reward for a repeatable quest so that it would still be special and perhaps hard to get without destroying the economy more.

The higher the price the better, so it can be a new status simbole besides black dye.
I realy DONT care about the price, if its 40k I'll buy it if it will look nice on chest, then the rest on all other parts. I'd bet it would look nice on Ranger FoW armor.

KoalaMeatPie, that combo doesnt work on all armors. Some the closest you can get is a mid to light blue/silver. A white dye would make ANY armor dyable actual white.

Yeah, most ppl want it. And of course it will be as expensive as black, so what.
Whatever "white" recipe you think you have, try making white on Male Courtly. You'll get a nasty gray at best. There is no white since white requires darker armors to become more bright.
