Nope, boots you back to the monastery. PvE Tombs does the same after every level.

Typical for the tombs. Best I ever got was a grape and we wiped before I could retreive it.

I think Anet's employees are on drugs or something...titles we can't aquire? Missions that are impossibly hard (or at least LONG) that give crappy rewards compared to others? What is this?

Well if its repeatable then this makes sence. You can keep on getting 50 orbs from this. I dont know how long it takes so I cant really say much more.

to think on the optimistic side . . .maybe all of this stupid stuff is building up to something super duper. What if the mini-mission is just part of the storyline that Anet had to include in order to add in a new tombs in the area (this is just an example). Or there will be another mission after this one that they have yet to add in yet, which WILL have greens and better rewards. Now THAT would be worth it.

still you can just go other places where they drop ectos so yeah i'm not going to bother with this unless they mention something else after it. I might just enter and die to get a look at the area. 50 orbs doesn't seem worth it but I could care less as I'm not one to complain.
I'm more interested as to what this is all leading up to. but if you have an extra character slot you could pretty much create a new character and get the 240 orbs in the time it would take you to finish this mission by the sounds of it.

Anyone seen an Ecto drop then? Perhaps this is the ToPK equivalent for Canthans, therefore Ectos DO drop? If this is the equivalent this is way crappier in terms of reward and way easier in terms of monsters present and time needed to finish...

Since the prize is orbs, it seems to indicate that this isn't permanent, and only for the Festival. Debateably a waste of time.
However, I question ArenaNet's judgment for putting the mission in Shing Jea Monastery...newbie central + difficult mission = death.

I think the main point of this was for it to be repeatable for your character so yeah.. and maybe this will stay for the week there after like the crafter in case people missed out they can do this.. who knows... hopefully though if there is a meaning to finishing this mini mission they will let us know before it goes away. I don't want to do it unless I will get something other than 50 orbs so i'll keep my eyes peeled i guess.

Debating going for Favored title right now but I dunno... all of this stuff seems kind of pointless in the end. Hell, even the titles don't give you any special effects or require any sort of skill.
They could at least like... give you 10,000 tickets for winning...

yah it would dude, you just saved likely the entirety of cantha by the way rujiyo puts it, and Kisu HIMSELF is coming on the final day, and remember the thing before the event that said TRUE canthans wont want to miss? Kisu comes and rewards the defender of his land, so there is logic behind it.

But I agree - there needs to be some sort of catch/BETTER PRIZE (better catch than: you can do it repeatedly -.- )

dont know why everyone is bitching about it. It was fun, small teams, more challenging than most missions, chance to get ectos, storm bows, eternal sheilds and eternal bows..
