looks alright, nothing i see that reallly interests me though sigh

Yeah, that boss at the end... I imagine it'll be a tough take down. Make sure you have a Cap sig on hand!

Yeah it looks great ^.^ I dont play PvE at all now days, ppl from the guild always making PvP teams, and i dont like Pve that much :/

that new baddie looks nice. like a hybrid between mergoyles/giants. = one ugly but big baby...hehe.

that lavabot looks more like just a background boss which can atk the players/have an affect on the gameplay, but it might not be attackable by players, from its positioning. (thats just from looking at the vid).

would be nice to have more "glint-like" bosses to fight with.

I like that new boss, seems like a giant metal gollum sort of thing. I also agree with Starsky, that it seems like just somthing in the back round. Actually seemed kinda cheap to me.

one new monster and a map thats just a gay mix between the southern and northern shiverpeak missions

not to mention a metal monster that drops lava on you

I was just about to download that video, but its the only one of sorrows furnace, so isnt it just the one they released a little while ago?, The one with the big robot at the end..?

2 questions -

1. will the summer update just have the new maps, or will it also have new items, armors, etc? (i'm pretty sure i read that it wont have spells, not sure about items though)

2. release date?

I would imagine the release date will be sometime after the 10th, since that's when they announce the winners of the Brand the Boss contest

The 10th is a Wednesday. As such, I would imagine (hope?) that the release date is the 10th...

I dont think anyone can really give any exact answers to those questions but Anet really. Im sure they'll add new items, but I doubt anything special like weapons or runes, to be honest I don't think there'll be any new armor either, thats probably just being made for the expansion.
As for release date, it should be out in a few weeks I suppose...

Perhaps, but I somehow believe that if we were about to get the update, we wouldn't just be getting the movie. Rather, we're getting the movie to alert us that the update is real, but will not be this Wednesday.

The movies been out for a while. Weeks old, even.

The cinemtics, like the last Sorrows Furnace one and the ones before release, have always been done very well. The area looks pretty tasty

The boss looks cooler than Glint and The Lich combined! w00t. I wonder what kind of story line there will be for something so huge. Does it shoot laser beams out its head?

I'm hoping that the reward for beating it will be UAS (or UAS for primary and seconday prof or UANS - unlock all normal skills). That would be a sweet reward.

UANS would indeed be a suitable reward, and this is coming from a PVE player who hates it when PVP people whine about not having the skills they want.

Well, can't be something that would take too much away from future releases... unless vol. II presents a whole new batch of skills and the like...
