1) No New Trade System - The one thing the game needed...it didn't get. After weeks and weeks of delaying and hiding behind bullshit promotions like PvPX...they couldn't even manage to put together a simple town area where people could go to trade.
2) Still Can't Toggle Capes - 3 lines of code must be too much for ArenaNet to bother with...regardless of how much the community wants it
3) Grenths Footprint Forces Me To Play With Other People - this forces me to realize just how stupid most people are. I run from Copperhammer to citadel because my ranger doesn't have citadel...find a group we go outside and the entire group gets pwned in 30 seconds. I run to grenths...4 people map out before I get there. This happens 4 more times
4) Chest Keys - if they dropped something more valuable than the key itself I'd probably have a heart attack and shit myself
5) Superior Salvage Kits - Can anyone explain to me why this kit costs 400 gold more than just buying 4 expert salvage kits??
add to the list...or put down what you like...or do whatever.

PVPx was a very popular promotion, just cause u suck at PvP doesn't mean other people can't like it.
2) Still Can't Toggle Capes - 3 lines of code must be too much for ArenaNet to bother with...regardless of how much the community wants it
Can you Program? I am sure it is a lot hard than 3 lines of code
4) Chest Keys - if they dropped something more valuable than the key itself I'd probably have a heart attack and shit myself
I got a lot of good stuff from chests, easily worth buying the key
5) Superior Salvage Kits - Can anyone explain to me why this kit costs 400 gold more than just buying 4 expert salvage kits??
That is peoples fault, more people wanted the Superior one so the price rose.

1) I never trade with other players, so sorry, I can't comment on this really. Trading is always a nuisance.
2) It's not integral, and they're bound to get to it in time. If you read the thread in relation to the filters, you find out that something that looks simple may be quite a bit harder. :Shrugs: Give them time, this is a purely aesthetic thing, and nobody will die without it.
3) Don't play it if it causes you distress is all I can say. If you don't like playing a game with other people, I suggest sticking to console RPG's. If it's just that particular map, then skip it. There's nothing unbalancingly new there.
4) The unlocks and the occasional valuable salvageable mods and runes make it worth what it is. You could ignore the treasure chests if you don't like their drops. This change fixes chest farming bots for now, with random placement, in addition to giving people rare items more easily.
5) Standard RPG practice. More effective items, or items with more uses, but greater cost.
Why should a potion that heals 250 in a game and costs 100 exist, when you could use another one that heals 50 for and costs 25? Spike healing, but what about outside of battles? You're still probably going to just stock up on the greater heals and use them always.
---
Edit-
On a side note, I notice more and more gold sinks and inefficient gold spending processes (technically also gold sinks, but not quite the same as +50% exp for 10 minute scrolls buyable from NPC's) being added into the game subtly.
Also, there are things I wanted that were lacking from the update. However, I've spelled them out before along with others, and I have full faith that given time, ANet will get to things.
Look at the faction boost; It's here and in full power. I didn't even think they'd keep it at the full degree of the PvP weekend.
People are BEING HEARD! An amazing new phenomena!
Well, amazing to me. I've played games where the company's vision strays so far from the enjoyment of players, that most of the players quit.

It was a free expansion and 5 mins after it's released you are here bitching about. incredible. do us all a favor and go stand in your closet and bitch to yourself you obviously don't like this game so go stand there alone and stop bothering the rest of us that might actually like this game. Thanks

stop bitching and play, this is the best patch so far, many pvp flaws were changed and the pvpx bonus is now permanent.
superior salvage kits takes 1 slot.
gold and purple items drop everytime from chests.
if other parties are doing shitty, make your own party. check everyones skills before you go in.
best part is you dont need a full guild group to gvg now

sixdartbart: No I do not feel cheated...I feel quite fortunate that I was given something for free. The new areas are graphically quite impressive. The henchman seem to be even smarter than they were before and the areas I've been to thus far are an incredible amount of fun(once you can find a competent team)....nonetheless I am a consumer and have the right to point out the shortcomings of the developer....they failed in many aspects. but you are correct...what was given to us is quite impressive.

Have you looked at the Superior Salvage and Superior Identification kits before saying that they are a bug? They're different from the Expert Salvage/ID kits in that they have 4x the charges. They do cost more per charge, but then you have to factor in the convenience of only taking one inventory space and you don't have to buy new ones nearly as often. If you're hugging your pennies, then don't get them, but if you don't mind wasting 20 gold to make your life easier, then they're a nice addition. The old kits weren't changed, so you don't have to change your ways if you don't want to.
Algren- it's a bit more complicated for some things than you think. For example, in having a cape toggle, they have to add a UI update to allow you to turn it off- meaning they have to work it into the current UI, probably requiring other things to move as well. Then they have to tie the UI trigger to toggle the capes, translate the UI addition into a couple dozen languages, make sure it fits and works right at different resolutions, as well as in windowed/fullscreen mode in each resolution, since that changes the viewable area on the screen as well. They'd also have to add in code to check to see if you even belong to a guild with a cape, and likely change the UI depending on whether or not you even have a cape to toggle. I'm sure that they will have toggleable capes sometime in the future, but it's far more complicated than 3 lines of code.

Freyas: it actually isn't...there is already a checksum to determine whether or not you are in a guild...your guild is linked to a checksum that determines if it has a gape(you get a guild list and a guild hall right?? there has to be a checksum already defined in as a variable to check for this)...they could use those checksums to determine whether or not the UI button is available to you...the rest of your argument is about UI...and not coding. I have very little experience with User Interfaces(about 6 months with Turbine Entertainment) so I won't comment too much about it...but you can't honestly believe that it would take much effort and thought to figure out where to put a damn button.
