The OP, through shrewd wording and ethically shady actions got the runner to agree to a free run, therefore, was entitled to a free run.

What I mean here is, there are definitly problems that occur because of running, but that these problems should be solved seperatly, not just wiped out by removing the option of running. Among other things, a filter for low level arenas for armor and elite skills (or just having been to Droknar's Forge).
