More storage. (Now with special item collection sway)

Seriously, we need more storage.

The Xunlai vault has 20 slots. This is from Prophecies, before you could buy character slots, therby meaning the Xunlai vault was meant to be shared between a maximum of 4 characters.

Then they released Factions, and we could have a maximimum of 6 characters; storage was a little cramped so they gave us the materials tab at the Xunlai.

Then they added character slots in the online store.

Then they released Nightfall, and if you didn't buy any extra character slots but had every Guild Wars campaign, you could have now have a maximum of 8 character slots. There have been no additions to storage with Nightfall, other than the Festival Hat guy, which only frees a limited amount of space, if any.

As you support Guild Wars more and more by purchasing new campaigns, purchasing new character slots, and linking everything to one account, you are actually making your storage shortage worse. If you buy more character slots to use their inventory to store things, it improves some storage shortages, but is still inconvenient because it requires extra shuffling to and from the Xunlai storage vault to switch items between characters.

This does not seem a reasonable way to reward customers who support Guild Wars by purchasing more campaigns and character slots. Since the Xunlai vault was designed for 20 spots for 4 characters, when you link a new campaign to your account you should get 10 more storage spaces in the Xunlai vault. If you buy characters in the store, you should get 5 more storage spaces in the Xunlai vault for each character. This scales in accordance with the original design of the Xunlai valut, and rewards people who support the game by purchasing new content and characters, and therefore seems the fairest option to make available.

I would like to see the idea like runescape. You could have up to say 4 different "storage" tabs for just putting stuff in it. You could put your extra armor, weapons, dyes, etc. in it. Maybe make those special slots character only so you need to go do a series of quests for each slot expansion. Or even a fee. That would give a lot more space even if it was just 1 extra storage tab specifically for one character.

Also, the cap for materials should be able to go up.... maybe make it so you can add a max of 1000 of the materials in the slot. Have 250 stack increases for another quest/ fee and then you'd have to go do 3 more quests/ fees to be able to hold more.

More storage, yes.
But the thing we really need is the ability to stack armor of the same kind. This way it would take 1 space instead of 5.

I think you need to either:

A) Buy a mule character or make another character for muling.

B) Stop clinging on to so much crap.

C) Make a better suggestion, because this isn't that great.

i got two dedicated pvp chars which act as mules and hoh drops. i feel the pain

I think we need more storage for event items, xmax halloween, etc... That way, we can get a lot more room on our chars.
