I sure hope that helps, but I doubt it will. I'm experiencing forum-wide sluggishness every day, all day. Today I got a few time-outs also. I usually access the forums from about 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, and again at various times throughout the afternoon and evening, depending on what I'm doing.These are all pacific times. I know it's not my connection, because every other site I visit loads quickly. It's getting very frustrating, and I often run out of news to read while waiting for threads to load. I think I'm gonna have to start in on my books just to have something to do while waiting.

Exactly my problem, but Im in EST... Im on a G7 cable connection.

To be honest, I've been having problems with these boards since I've joined. I'm on EST, and it can be noon or midnight, 2PM or 2AM, and these boards are sluggish as all hell.
I've got a 3.0 Mbps/768kbps DSL connection at home, so it's really not an issue on my end. My work connection feels more sluggish than my home connection, but it's still not enough to explain why these boards are so slow. It's basically to the point where I cilck a link and then surf another window until this one pops up with the information I'm looking for.

Seems like others above experience the same things I do (fine internet connect, fast loads on other pages, few minutes wait to load pages sometimes or even time outs.)
Sometimes it is faster/slower than others. If a guru page loads in under 30s I count it as fast times
Around 1pm EST (think that's 6 GMT) it seemed ok, but by 2pm I was getting a lot of timeouts. I'm still getting them after an hour or so break, but it's not as bad as it was.
