Doesn't it say that you need the candycane weapons for someone who is coming? I seriously doubt that you shall be walking around smiting foes with a candy cane. More than likely it is for something similar to the Mad King that will show up at a later time.

There is going to be so many people on Tonight wow...
I was up till 4:30Am... and LA had like 9 Dist's... pretty funny some of the tricks ppl were pull.... sending ppl looking across LA for nothing...
PPl are so hyped up, all it takes is someone to SCREAM I got a toque and the whole Dist exlpodes with comments... and people running around insane with questions....
Cudos to the X-mas Carrolling... Guild I'll post a pic when I get home sigh... I'm at work till midnight but I prolly snapped about 70 Screen Shots last night...
The X-mas cheer sure was in the air this morning....

I heard rumors of a HUGE gingerbread man roaming the shiverpeaks last night...
And that the entire boards worth of monsters were running away from it... but I'm pretty sure that was just B/S...

and give you the basic items like Snowman, Eggnog, Candy Cane
theres a new crafter who makes weapons for 5 candy shards, but apparently they havent added candy shards yet so noone has any.

Can't find collectors or quest givers....hm...
as for what you need, I guess the items you can easily find as drops around that area...
Maybe i'l log back on and check again...see if I can find both of them...

alot of people have been pming me asking for help with quets and such so im posting guide
1. Talk to Old Nicohlas in Lions Arch and take the Quest
2. Go to Ascalon and Find the Soldier and talk to him
3. Go to Droknars find king jalis and talk to him
4. Go to Lions Arch and find magi and talk to her
5. Go to Beetletun go out kill 17 Grentches
6. Go back to Lions arch to claim your prize
pls stop pmingm e asking where to get items
the 2nd quest is bugged the onion is not in the game yet according to some koreans so yeah if you find where the onion is please tell

ok you guys i just got a candy cane shard... from opening a winter gift i opened like 10 and only got 1 shard btw if u get a spiked eggnog from winter gift do not drink it and then drink a regular eggnog its like scary
