Soooo funny all the people giving all their IGN, and various accts, lol. Dont even know what a PM is ,hilarious. You really think whatever his name is is going to sit there and take 2 or 3 hrs to pm every body the location of the 'secret' chest. There are a handful of chests in the game that spawn in the same place everytime(and a couple that occasionally spawn), they are all well documented, look em up, be a much better use of your time than hoping whats is name PM's you. There is a sucker born every minute .

yea.. um i have played for 5 days and so far erm i have found 10 superior vigors. There is this 'hidden stash' in pre sear that um gives me them. Um.. yea.

LOL I've gotten probably over 100 pms on this from my post earlier on the first page. Not to mention the spams of whispers in game from this, and I'm still getting them now. I had one person pm me the link for proof because I forgot where this was lol. You've been duped everyone.

Your best bet to get Superior Vigors is to farm ETTINS outside of Beetletun. I just got one from them yesterday making it my 5th Superior Vigor that I have gotten from Ettins.

I actually got a Sup Vigor out of a shiverpeak chest last night. When did regular chests start dropping armors? (Not that i'm complaining mind you...)

Either way, ettins are good for any kind of rune, so try those.

I and a party member got gold armors from the beastmasters(?) at the end of the frost gate mission.
Mine ended up being a crappy major mesmer rune, but I never expected a gold that early in the game.

Sorry i dint read all the posts, so i dont know if this tip was posted or not, but i find it the best place and easy way to find Sup Vig's its the Rune trader in any major city. its amazing the guys are always there with open arms. . Nerf them Rune traders Anet.

Btw (most people will know this) there used to be a chest called 'The Frozen Chest' that only dropped salvaging armour. You could get gold runes out of there so I guess that could have been a good place to get Superior Vigors. Its gone now though.
