Underworld Domination

Just wanted to see what everyone can accomplish in the underworld. A guildie and I are working on 2maning the whole thing, and we're making considerable progress. As of now, we can 2man all of the labyrinth (including unwanted guest and escort of souls), all of ice wastes (including the ice king quest), all of the forgotten vale (including the spirits quest), all of the twin serpent mountains (haven't tried the quest yet, but we summoned the reaper) and we're working on ways to clear the chaos planes (which won't be hard now that we can do escort of souls with ease) and once that's done we'll head into the bone pits/spawning pools (haven't made it yet, too busy with our spider charming business.) Heres some of my interesting screenshots

UPDATE for those new to the thread: Underworld Domination is complete. We have successfully completed EVERY quest in the Underworld using only a team of 3 people.

I counted 11 drops, so I'm assuming there was only 11. one or more of them might have dropped nothing, but from the screen it looks like 11.


This is the ice king quest in the Ice Wastes (yep, lived again, as you can see. My partner got 2 rares and a glob in that group, hense the 'wtf')


Heres my current max with smites, 21 at once. 15 is my max with no dp. (yes, lived again )

Heres a shot from before we knew how to kill mindblades. Got to the planes, but didn't make it far

We can kill all the aatxes/coldfires/smites up until the behemoths..

As for quests.. well, ice king wasn't pretty.. escort havent tried yet, wrathful spirits at the village was very good with 3.. haven't tried it yet with 2 (spider run).. We can't get passed the behemoths and our inventory is filled anyway.. Any tips?

Damn you! I want to be you bad! How much time does it take you to clear it all?

For behemoths you will have natures renewal on you almost always, so you have to drop one of your enchants to maintain energy. Spam blessed sig and keep prot spirit up, don't worry about breeze, as they don't hit hard enough to make it worth using. Do your best to interupt the healing springs with your wand, and let the necro do his thing . also, when 1 group dies, either wait 90 seconds, or prot/breeze your necro and have him trigger the traps.

Bummer. When I read the thread title, I was expecting a Mesmer UW build.

I'd run the nec with shatter hex to get rid of the ignorance vs mindblades....
other than that a standard ss/sv nec.. mmmm..

Me and FCT Steve O can clear about the same amount of enemies, but the best way for us to make ecto is to kill smites and Bladed Aatxes, so we ussually odnt bother with this.

ive got a question, being the trap ranger that doesnt go farther than the smites in UW:

what exactly is a Mindblade and why are they so hard?

The pug state of today is pretty pathetic

Very nice, but what is your damage output? I see you your very well protected with ur 55build, but how do you cause the big dmg needed to kill attaxes e.t.c.
