Stupid question but can I cap Famine in nightfall too since they use it?

I know what you mean, it made me die a few times with my dervish, too. I got this problem since the nightfall update.

Use Forked Arrow instead of Dual Shot since it makes more damage and has a lower recharge.

Yes just make sure that you don't aggro more then 3 aatxes or else they will scatter.

There's probably a better way to do that - Mystic Regeneration (+9 regen with Balthazar's Spirit, Essence Bond and Protective Spirit)...

Dervish tanks work actually pretty well, their weakness are mesmers or necros

They could raise the ecto drop rates for the time :P
