Disable the skill when you don't want them to use it.

Make a Necromancer. Hex pressure is pretty passive and you don't need to think much to stack hexes across an entire team.

Definitely Nightfall for the heroes. You don't get as much benefit from Factions than that.

Inscriptions weren't thought up of till Nightfall came out. That's why Nightfall and the Eye of the North after have inscriptions....
