Also remember that after you ascend, you can change your secondary. Oftentimes, as above posters have pointed out, you just need one or two skills...

Mesmers get blinding snow which interuppts the targets action and blinds them for 10 seconds. Recharges in 10 seconds too, it looks to be pretty...
