It'd likely work but it would require a lot more timing and work... After 30 or so seconds your AE SV/SV would be gone and they're regen...

I just played with a great pug.. Even with a language barrier, we managed to run through Boreas Seabed all the way to HzH in less than an hour.
IIRC Gnash Underfoot is a boss you should have killed already in the mission.. O.o
