i only have troubles if i minimize the game,otherwise no crashes. it's annoying as i have to use the new drivers for battlefield 2.
i have to agree with installing direct x 9c, the newer nvidia drivers are designed to be run in conjuction with dx 9c.
i've put fresh thermal paste on and enabled cool 'n' quiet and the computer has been on for a few hours and hasn't gone over 41.
