Yeah, it "overwrites" lesser conditions. If you cast one that lasts 10 seconds, and 2 seconds later cast one that lasts 15, it'll last...

I think he meant different routes while inside a mission, which is understandable... though it doesn't work. Get a party that doesn't know...
