With all the perfect mods floating around for beans, I would just merchant the whole deal and save the hassle.
When a req 8 15^50 fellblade is selling for just over 100k, its time to merchant, this one or salvage for less than perfect mods.

If that is all there is to the staff.. no inherant mods. Sell to merchant, or salvage off +5 head. It's junk.

If you spend so much time hexed in pvp that you actually need this, then you need a new monk, not a while hexed wand. I agree with malice.
It's a longbow, same arc, flight, etc as any other longbow.
