I was monking for this Rank 7+ team in TA and they ran a pretty good Earth Spike. It basically went, AoD > Shock > Aftershock > Obsidian...
One problem I had was being kited way too often, maybe fit in a snare or speedbuff like Stormchaser since you already have 16 wilderness.
If you bring this in RA/TA, you'll have no rez signet and be hated by everyone on your team I'm guessing you can swap out Gaze for that...
