I don't think you can redo it, but if you stick it out until the end of the game, you can get the other hero then.
Hepaestus has the location right. As for gaining heroes, at the end of the game, you get to pick up all the heroes you didn't take earlier on....
Don't bother with the Cesta, just get a scythe with an enchanting mod, and bring Shield of Absorption too. Don't have to worry about 55 hp.
The only Order that affects minions is Order of Undeath. That's probably your best bet. Other skills to help out minions might be Winnowing,...
