More memory, save for it first. I had the same type prob as u before since my cpu is only an amd xp 1800+. With 256 ram GW ran well, like crap....
I played Gw with Vista beta and it was bit sluggish...my pcs old. But it looked much nicer, brighter colors being a big thing. Over all I liked...
I did the run with 100 blade but honestly find triple chop+cyclone more to my liking on vermin farming
Well When I upped my ram from 256 to 512 I saw nice improvment..then from 512 to 1024 I saw another leap. Both in Guild Wars and in general function.
Drops are well. Usually garbage here. I did these for a while and netted 2K+ on a good run...never found a gold item but oh well was diffrent at...
I've never had a prob from Evga or Bfg cards...suppose Im just lucky
