Dumbest thing that you've done in Guild Wars

That's nothing...my first black dye was dropped in pre-searing. I sold it to the merchant for 1g...found the real value 3 days later...I'm still pissed.

Just recently I withdrew all of the gold I had (must've been 18k or so) to buy a rune on my PvP character. Then I went and did some RA and I logged off. Then a little while later I delete the guy....

Dumbest thing I ever did:

Sold 10 ectos to another player for 87 gold.

Since I use to switch builds very often, I once in a while mess the 4 steps up:
Switch skills, sup rune, weapons and attributes. But a low level Flesh Golem is a real cuttie!

Of course, I have also merched/salvaged a lot good stuff as well, like selling ectos for 100g and I once got a Chaos axe (+14>50%, req. 12, 20/20, +20% enchant). I thought the requirement were too high for it to be worth anything, so I salvaged it for....7 wood.

41 ectos to merchant X_X(regular merchant)(In december or so)

i got sick of trying to sell my zodiac axe for 60k so i thought id salavage it for the 30hp mod or 20/20 sundering mod. BUT GW HAD OTHER IDEAS!!!!!

trying to do Hells Precipace after hurridly swapping from a running build to my axe build, and then trying to figure out why I was only doing 3 damage

playing an MM when i had just played SS and totally forgot to reset my atts. yeah, i had a tiny cute level 3 flesh golem pop up from a corpse to my teammates absolute horror ...

Salvaging perfect req 10 serpent axe for 29 hp. at least I got the 29 hp.

mine was salvaging my FoW armor and getting 50 iron from it grrrrrr.
I also sold a 15^50 req 10 chaos axe to merch and 60 shards to regular mechant .

Got a nice purple axe around Yak's. ID'd it. Sundering Axe of Trollslaying.
20/20. Expert Salvaged it. Got the trollslaying mod.
...that was around a month ago, I guess.
Just yesterday:
Got a nice purple bow in one of my farming runs. ID'd it. 20/20 Sundering.
Salvaged. Got wood planks.

Lesson learned: Don't salvage; sell the whole darn item and tell the sucker that buys it to salvage himself.

(Of course, this all was offset when I acquired a gold max shortbow in the same day, 5/1 lifestealing, +1 Marksmanship 20%. XD)

King Kryton, i feel your pain. I remember i got a crappy celestial bow with a +30 health grip (this came from the chest during the double-rare drops weekend). I thought to myself, time to salvage.... end up with 18 wood.

I need to slow down in PVP Tab-spaced the next enemy and it was a flesh golem....of course before I had time to react I already wasted my starting/long recharge spell on it.

I also had a smiliar dye selling noobness...when I first started the game I didn't know wth "dyes" were for so in pre I sold all the dyes I found to the merchant....at least I'm glad I don't remember what colors they were.

I haven't really done anything overly stupid. On my ranger I used to always do b/p groups for Tombs and Oro and shiz. But I'd go out and cap or do a mission, and change up my build. I know I've forgotten the "pet" part of barrage/pet at least a dozen times. And once I went in with my atts for trapper, aka 0 in marksmanship.

This one's the worst. Salvaging FoW armor? Ouch. And 60 shards at like what 100g each instead of 3k each? You got owned

i think its just a gamble we all have to take at some point... perfect sundering or 20 planks of wood... hmmm....

my favorite stupid mistake is :

signing in and jumping into a Random Arena match without remembering that i was changing around skills and stuff last time i logged, that I had a mostly empty skillbar and attributes of zero for skills i did have on...

ive done that a couple times over the past year lol...

I've seen people buying 20% trollslaying for 20-40k, so it actually wasn't that bad

... I just merched my second black dye in a row.
