No, it’s still very attainable. There is loads of lead way on the title.
And congrats to Mint.
Livingston Well, I'd say it's close to 25% actually. I had the western bit of Haiju Lagoon open and the path leading to there from Jaya Bluffs before I started. I was at 69.9%. I was at a solid 85% after opening the rest, save Zen Daijun...which I still have not opened...so if the rest of the Island is a full 15%, I'd say what I had opened already, plus what I have left will make ~25%. That's a GREAT start for people beginning in Factions that want the title of for Tyrian chars coming in to try it.
In my experience so far, it is MUCH easier to attain this title in Cantha than in Tyria. I'm at 90% now, and haven't opened Zen Daijun, been to Amatz Basin or the Aurios Mines, or uncovered all of their respective lead-in zones.
Cantha does not have zones like Snake Dance, Dreadnaughts Drift, Ice Dome or Lornar's Pass. And to make matters even easier, you can go into the mission area as an explorable area, whereas in Tryia, you had to do the mission. Don't get me wrong, it's still not easy...but compared to Tyria, it's a walk in the park.

I'm at 99.8% now, haven't been able to enter the Jade Quarry yet. If other people want it, we could organize a group.

I've made a few updates.
Edited text on the second and third post
Added 3 maps that show areas that I have more fully cleared since the original maps were shot. I will combine these areas to the fully marked map when time is available. I will also be changing the positions of a few of the circles and will be adding a couple more based on spots that other people have missed recently.
Edit: Soon I will be adding pics of some of the most common commonly missed spots that will show a close up comparison of what the spots look like when not clear, compared to what they look like fully cleared.

thanks Livingston, for the new spots, there were 2 that I didn't have which got me there

broodijzer
thanks
I'm at 98.1% now, was 95.6 when I started exploring the little things in the map.

Lord Beramus
Great guide, I was in the way for my 6th Grandmaster title (on 3 characters) and I have to admit that your post helped me to get the 0.1% I was missing from shiro's at Imperial Sanctum.
Thanks a lot.
Thanks a lot.
broodijzer
just got it, and without this and the other topic I never could've done this, thanks!
urszla
Thank you very much.. I was stuck at 99.3 and after rescraping about 1/4 of your commonly missed areas I am now at 100%..
Cyclades of Knossos
This is a great thread and has been very helpful. Thanks!
Unfortunately I'm stuck at 99.6% and am slowly tearing my hair out, but I'm sure I'll get through it. I have yet to team up with anyone to see if I can get banished. That should help for a little of what I need.

What do you like best about post 3?
Livingston CorstedPirate I still have a couple spots to go before I am done, but woohoo!!!! Thanks again for all of your help Livingston. EDIT: I was mapping #3 of the Luxon map when I saw that I had hit 100%. I took pictures right there! Of course I don't think I got all of the spot either, the Kappa's came back and I zoned. I still need to get #6 of the Luxon map and #11 of Mount Qinkai. There is always the Jade Quarry too. DaDennis

Funny thing, this is what I was paying attention to when I was mapping Shing Jea Island, and when I was done (for afaik) I was at 22.7%, if you want to check, this is what I have:
![]() PS: Do note this is not a 'help me, check my map for uncovered stuff'-picture but just an addition to verify what I said picture. lennymon
I've heard 22% used before, which since as a Canthan (you have newby starting area which under the topic of conversation must be removed from the math) you have that 0.5-1% extra which is the original question poster's entire point in asking as a Tyrian. For what it's worth though, your map looks complete
![]() shmegma
Got to 100% this past weekend. Thank you very much for this guide!
Lady Tokaroro
A week after the Tyrian title i was at 99.9%. This thread helped me so much.
Its my new bible ![]() ![]() So with al the troubles of getting in the jade ( stuck at 99.9% ![]() ![]() And tonight, just one try, et voila, i was in! I'm so happy. Thank you for this thread ( and also thx for the posters in it.) I will post a next screen if my warrior made it. ( 92.7 now ) Livingston
Congratulations to CorstedPirate, shmegma, and Lady Tokaroro (you can delete that second post by going into the edit feature btw)

Yeah, I knew it was around 22 but being able to clear the Monastery Overlook or not makes a big difference. I'd be curious to see what the exact count is without the overlook as well. BTW: I believe you can clear 25 a bit more, otherwise the map's as close to perfect as my own. Not sure if this would give you another .1% or not, but probably not. And what’s this afaik you speak of? Livingston Leighwyn
Livingston you need to learn your internet acronyms! This is #2
![]() AFAIK = as far as i know Lady Tokaroro
And there is the other one.

I played ONLY Monastery Outlook with a new char, and I explored for a total of 0.8% (which leaves 21.9% for the rest of Shing Jea Island), since tyrian chars can explore a tiny bit of Monastery Outlook, I think the 22% guess is quite accurate.

*Update*
Have tweaked some of the directions to obtain a few spots Added the dread ![]() ![]() Effie
Thanks for the Guide. I got Grandmaster for both Tyria and Cantha on my Ranger quite a while ago - the hard way - scraping walls! I tried Cantha with my Tyrian Warrior, and got up to 99.8%. No way could I get that last .2% in spite of being Banished, and double checking everything. Tried the Eredon exploit, and made the 100%.
cataphract
I'm still having no luck with the banishing bussiness. I get banished and then returned back after like 10 seconds. It's really frustrating. My counter is at 99.5% and I'm having trouble getting that 0.1% to be exempt from TEH RULE.
![]() Luciora
Cataphract, have a look at the threads posted so far and then look at the maps posted. You will be able to find a lot of spots that you have missed this way and get the title. The areas that I had missed first time round were easily identified and then uncovered. If you haven't been to Jade Quarry yet, try to get a group and do it. That gave me quite a bit
cataphract
Thing is I *do* look at the maps but I can't spot any differences. Guess my eye-soght isn't what it used to be.
I have explored the Jade Quarry when Livingston organised an explorer party couple of weeks ago. Livingston

![]() You should only be going in with one other person. No henchies and no other people. Just one. The only way that you can return after being banished is by entering the portal at the top of the mountain or if someone kills the Shiroken that has taken your place. If you are only there to get banished and you are only going with one other person, then you need to tell that other person not to kill the Shiroken warrior. All they have to do is run off to one side of the map, away from the middle and they can stand there all day. This really shouldn't be a problem for you at all if you follow my guidelines to a "T." But I don't think you have been, otherwise you would have it. I will modify my guidelines to make it more clear that everything needs to be followed, not just part of it. Livingston lennymon
I have 2 computers so when I did this, I loaded my second account onto my laptop and left my necro there, she died even after I got banished, but I finished my exploration uninterrupted

I was reading through your changes and I noticed you refer to the Raisu Palace and Eredon Terrace exploits, but don't say what they are. Wouldn't it be good to include them as well?

Good?
Maybe... As far as allowing people to have a cheap and easy way to get from 90% to 100% with little effort at all, yes it would be good. As far as me hating that these exploits exist and thinking that they tarnish a title that's usually fairly difficult to get, then no I don't think it would be a good thing to do. My guide is for those who want to "earn" the title themselves, but I have also added what's needed in order to get help with it, in the case that the player simply can not get it even with the guide. If people "really" have to resort to exploits to get the title, then they can at least put the effort in to find the threads that detail the exploits. They won't have to look hard. A few things have come to my attention though, which may change this stance in the future. When Nightfall is released, more than likely there will be few players left in Cantha, and even when the hype has died and people return to Cantha for whatever reasons, there will likely be a lot less people than there is now. Jade Quarry is rather difficult for players to get into now, so it stands to bet that it will be even more difficult to get into after NF is released. If that proves to be the case, then I may include the Eredon exploit in my guide as an alternative to mapping the Quarry. Until that time though, I think the fact that I mention them at all is more than good enough. Livingston cataphract
Livingston.. you couldn't possibly be bribed into "not-noticing" that my map is 0.1% short of reaching the exemption of the notoriuos 6 rule, could you?
![]() I'm going crazy with checking maps. Livingston

![]() I'm going crazy with checking maps. And it is not the "6 rule" It is the ![]() ![]() It's much more ominous. ![]() However, since you have been waiting a long time and posted your maps before my post, I suppose I can give you some more. But this is all you are getting! ![]() Kaineng 5 7 10 (west of 10) 15 16 19 Mount Qinkai 5 NE of 11 14 15 16 Luxon 2 3 (And west of 3) If you can't make due with that then No Title For a You! ![]() Livingston RossMM

*Update*
I have updated a bit of the info in post 3 concerning Shiro. I no longer believe that hit points are what determines who Shiro will banish. Or if they are it is something other than simply having more than another player. However, my solution still works and it's the only one that I haven't seen fail. Livingston Shantel Span
Here it is...
Lady Lozza
How much of the map is in the competitive missions? I got about.3-.4 out of Fort Aspenwood (total (including) both sides) but haven't manage Jade Quarry yet.

However, my solution still works and it's the only one that I haven't seen fail. I agree with you that Shiro banishes the weakest, but while health isn't the only factor on being the weakest, it still matters. Which is why I recommend to try getting banished by changing the health before buying any extra armor for banishment only, because taking off +hp gear is free, but buying armor and runes isn't. Yeah, I'm a cheapskate. I have yet to see failure with the health solution when the difference between the players is around 150 hp or more, but maybe I've been lucky. Anyway, what kind of tests did you do? Something with different ALs and health points? Any other factors? Tiny Killer
Great guide!
