I've been working on this for a few days, I've reached 99.6% and am lost as to what I've missed. I've checked a few maps an compared, can't find anything I've missed.

Well it seemed I didn't look at one of the maps, i used one of them twice, not sure how I did that. Using the other map I got myself to 99.9%.

a huge thanks to SilentVex who pointed out some of the diffacult spots that were just undetectable to my eye.
the sad part was that .4% that i needed was in istan, i guess i just wasnt thorough enough when running rhrough those islands.

As for the opening cinematic, the location of that is the starter area for the Elonians as well, so they can get even more of that area than a Tyrian.
I also just took another Tyrian character over there and tried moving around during the cinematic, it didn't get me any more than my other Tyrian had. Which of course I figured would be the case, but someone here was curious to know if it would work or not, and it doesn't.

It's not that uncommon for people to miss areas in the started islands as people are usually less concerned about mapping when they first start, or they are unfamiliar with exactly how the land is set out, and can thus miss things. People also underestimate the starter areas, thinking that of course they got eveything there, it's only the starter island. You're welcome, and congrats. Don't forget to rate the thread. Is this one better? http://img300.imageshack.us/img300/7...unamap2io3.jpg In game graphics resolution for full screen seems to be limited to this small list: 800x600 960x600 1024x768 1088x612 1280x720 1280x768 1280x800 The general Windows screensettings can be higher, of course, but I am not sure that makes a lot of difference. Popped by here this evening when at 98.6 and had not done the Sahlahja mission yet... took the tips at the start on "how to" and had PLENTY of room left over...

I have to say, not having the best of vision coupled with being colorblind makes these mapping titles all the more difficult (I refrain from making fun of my age).
This service you're offering here is fantastic! I'm definitely looking forward to the response to my posted Elona map. I have a question about this - when comparing the maps, I enlisted the help of my wife. One of the things we noticed is that the U map I called up was typically clearer than the 100% map on this thread when obviously, in reality, it isn't. Why would that be though? Could it be cause by something that happens to the U maps once they're turned into jpg's? Sorry in advance if that's a dumb question - I'm new to the Exploration titles and certainly know nothing about graphic file types. Thanks again for offering this service and I look forward to your feedback on the maps I posted on Saturday. Oh, before I forget - a possible commonly missed spot - the western wall of Arkjok Ward (spelling?) near the portal to the Sunspear Sanctuary. I was stuck at 99.1% for a while when my wife noticed the difference there between your map and mine. Zoning there, I unfogged that area and added another .1% - it turns out that most of the people I spoke to ingame re-scraped there and also reaped the benefit. Thanks!

First the good news: checking the maps you marked for other forum visitors made me realise that missing spots in the sea wouldn't really stick out. I reran them and gained 0,1%. So now I am at 99,8%. I asked a friend of mine with a higher resolution to make a screen. It is now 1280 x 1024 and it is a bmp. Since it is too big for imageshack, it is on a private server. I will pm you the link, if that's alright. Hope this one is sufficient. Thanks for your help! dr matteo

I'm currently stuck at 97.7, and I know I need about half of Dynastic Tombs, so please don't mark any of that. The maps aren't that great for comparing, so I'd appreciate if someone could post how to make a U map in photoshop.

I've visited all the area marked on the map I submitted and even found two more areas but alas, stuck at 99.9%. I've begun remapping the entire game. I've rescraped Istan, all the area south of Vabbi and Gates of Desolation, and most areas around the Vortex.

Got it without aids... but man that last .2% was a bugger.
 The thing that finally topped me off, was going out and in every entrance and exit into areas. There are little bitty spots you can miss in some areas (Kourna especially) if you don't go in and out every exit.
