Well as I told you in-game, i will try and reach this lvl 20 mark in 3 weeks (starting today). Already lvl 7 with 3 hours in. Just a tip-To save time getting from 3-10, before the 4th char is killed, map back. Then you won't have to continuously abandon and restart the quest. This seemed to be more efficient, though i could be wrong since you are losing one more source of EXP.

Let say level 2 is 1175exp total to reach
If you were level 1 and killed all level 2's. and each gives 100 exp. it takes 12 level 2 monsters too level.
you would have 25exp additional experience after you leveled right?
so what happens if you killed monsters that gave lets say 125exp each? would you have a higher remainder after you leveld too 2 rather than those 100exp each monsters?

i would say mesmers are the best for a few reasons.
1) they can solo char at like lvl , you spend less time running back and forth to get exp
2) if you play them enough in pre you can get to know the class, which can be quite good in both pvp and pve if you play it right

Faintheartedness on the char warriors (50% slower attacks)
spam vamp gaze and vamp touch (health + damage)
Many choices for 2nd profession
Ranger = pet for another tank
Mesmer = Conjure phant for fast degen
Monk= Armor ignoring smite +reversal of fortune is good
Ele = Armor of restoration and glyph of lesser energy or whatever its called
Warrior = ??? points in tactics to get a good shield?

yes, i am doing this for a new challenge as very few things besides this are challenging
having a lvl 20 in pre DOES make you leet as in my terms leet means u have accomplished something very few or noone else has, and LDOA is one thing very few have

Yeah why do you all seem to name yourselves that? I do hope that people are going for 20, and not a title. Although when you think about it if they had not added a title but reinstated death leveling, would these same people go for 20? Or is it just for the title?

I made my pet moo is leet . I will stick with my normal stupid mooooooooooo cow names for now. Im just not a big fan on calling myself leet, unless joking around of course.
Im doing this because im already bored with nightfall and want this title. When survivor first hit i re-made my mesmer for this title. Also lost a set of FOW in it. I just like having the hard to get pain in the ass titles. Survivor is pretty easy to get if u ahve a good runner getting to a nice farming spot for XP.
This will be the new title to get. Which always good for the random PM's you will be getting also.

Some people may be doing it just for a challenge but in the end isn't it for the title? I don't think they should have "Is Leet" in their name b\c after u get the title are you gunna leave that char in Pre? If you come to Post people are probably gunna gripe at you for having a noobie name.

Yeah their cap is 20. A guildie asked since their are lvl 24s and stuff couldn't they keep going till lvl 31? Then I was thinking if they could go up that high you could charm it and have a lvl 28 pet XD. Sadly you can't.

i know for sure that i would go for lvl 20 even without the ''incentive'' of the title achieved. I currently have 5 chars in pre that will permanantly be there to help and guide others on their journy, 5 allows for more to do so it will be fun for longer

I have done TONS of math and made a decision. I believe that, being a monk, it is more efficient for me to, at level 13, take mesmer as my secondary. I know Necro is usually the best for a monk because of the lifestealing but you already have enough heals in your arsenal. Monks take a while to kill the bosses and the shaman so, mixing their heals with the mesmer's backfire is a beautiful combo. If my math is good, which I doubt, then i should be able to kill faster and make up the 250 exp it took to get my mesmer secondary!

not only does it take 250 exp for the mesmer secondry you also lose out on the quests for the other professions get the reward and then dont change secondarys so you actually lost about 1250 exp
Also i think we should make a guild called LDoA (legendary defensders of ascalon) and get a bunch of people so we can open gates for each other and help each other out?

God... i just realized i would rather spend 10000 hours in pre than 1 hour of doing a mission in factions... Anyway. At level 10 my warrior(with ranger skills) can solo everything in the northlands, including bosses. Just takes some intelligent pulling. If anyone cares, i use a rinblade with a tall shield, 4 armor, +10 armor vs char, hp+15.

i can go though the entire catacombs in about 1 hours or less but with a war it takes be about 2 maybe 1 and a half
other then that i can try and make an exp chart thing with times over the winter hoidays or something as i have school and other chars that need attending not to mention NF.
Btw my friend says that when he death levels a moa and then zones and comes back its back to its orginal level..isnt it supose to stay level 20? sry its been a while since i last tried it and as ive said before i dont ahev time to afk lol
