Anti-farm code kicking in for people trying to get a green item on Triple Green Drop weekend reeks of either a bug or really really piss poor planning on the part of ANet. What's the purpose of a farm weekend for green items when you know that many of the people farming it (the ones that aren't the hardcore farmers that know the tricks) are going to trigger anti-farm code. piss poor. More casualties in ArenaNet's mis-guided Crusade against the big bad Emmanu... err professional farmers/bots...

Best weekend ever (have to work all day tomorrow...i'll miss the rest of the event.)
Filled up almost 2 characters with greens. Got all of the items I wanted + some to give to guildies and friends.
But, I definitely had no life for the past two days...so I don't know which is better.
Wait...yes I do. Greens.

Went out yesterday (two different characters) with parties of four and five. NO green drop of any sort for anybody regardless of the speed of the kill.
And I wish to give kudos to a couple people (without naming them, of course). We started out as a party of five; ranger (me), a (GOOD) paragon, a warrior, a MM and a monk. The MM wanted to farm a staff in Arkjok Ward so we headed out. I should probably say here that the monk was one whom I'd partied with in mission during the previous week. But I couldn't remember why exactly that name set off all sorts of sirens.
Well, we started on our jaunt except no one (especially the MM, apparently) knew where the boss was she needed. After the MM died, she mapped out. A few minutes later, the monk did also. Then I rememberred why the monk's name set off bells -- she'd mapped out in mission on the party (the past week), as well, for NO reason. (No, it wasn't a disconnect)
At any rate, the warrior (please learn how to aggro without it being three groups at a time!) and the paragon and I roamed and died and roamed some more. But, alas, NO GREENS.

I got..
9darksong spear. sold at 15k each.
6 deathbringer. sold at 15k each.
2 chaklin axe. sold at 10k each.
2 churrta maul. sold at 5k each. (1 dropped while i was capping devas hammer)
3 wahli blade. sold at 15k each.
1 bubahl's grasp. sold at 8k.
1 lunto's pincer. sold at 2k.
I sold them very cheaply becuz i didnt wanna waste time spamming over and over again especially when there's like 5 players selling the same green.. but because of this, i got alot of shit from other sellers.. but whatever. I didnt work very hard for them, spent minimal time since they dropped like 4 out of 5 runs.. or 2 out of 3
Solo farm ftw.

I finally found a solo build as well and have been getting a good chunk of greens. The drop system definitely does not favor the casual player at all. Everything they do to limit drops (farm code, etc) really just hurts the guy that goes in a larger group of people/heroes/henchies, whereas those of us that can solo make out a bit better. I admit I'm no pro as I'm not that great at solo'ing, but it is still paying off. The first two days of going with groups/henchies/heroes (fri/sat) netted me 1 green from Elona.. this last day of going solo has netted me quite a grab bag of greens so far.
I've done well on previous weekends, but this one was just awful - maybe I farmed too much for dyes & halloween goodies!
All I got was 1 "Vanahk's Staff" and that was after I gave up trying and just focused on proceeding through the game. Kinda funny the way the enemy I killed before the boss dropped a green dye though - sort of an omen.
Killed loads of bosses who didn't drop *anything*. Had a few odd occassions where one of their group would drop a purple or even gold, afterwards, which seems to go against the farm code idea.
Couldn't solo, but why should I? Isn't that the sort of thing Anet should be discouraging?
