After reading all of the horror stories by people who's accounts have been hacked and their items pilfered, I finally decided to customize one of my most valuable items:

Furious Chaos Axe of Fortitude (req 8)
15^50
Double adren 10%
+30

I got it from a FoW chest drop and only had to add the furious mod. Worth about 400k a few months ago, but probably less than 200k now. I was never going to sell it, so I figured what the heck...

Got me to wondering, what is the most valuable item that each of you have customized? Free no prize to the winner.

Zealous Wicked Blade of Fortitude, 15^50, or a Sundering Storm Bow of Fortitude, also 15^50. Both were a gift from a friend and he said I could do whatever I wanted with them. Because they were gifts I didn't want to sell em, but I do regret customizing my Storm Bow now that my Ranger went Beastmaster...I'll either have to remod the thing - but it could've made a good bow for a bow-dependant Ranger.

barley ever customized maybe once in a full moon but i customized a 30+fort dmg +15 50% req 8 no regrets i use it wont sell anyway

I don't normally customize greens but my first green cuztomize was Deathbringer, at around 10-25k. I figured it was a good move since I'm way too proud of the character to be deleting her anytime soon. Of course, I said the same about my PvE MM I had a few months ago with ghials staff >_> Of course, i didn't customize that staff so the day was saved :/

Im a green freak...

Im currently trying to farm Kunvies Air Staff to replace Runars crappy staff, Cant wait for that bugger to drop. All of those were farmed except galigords staff. The bows are for Jin + Zenmai for critical barrage hero way

Also, I have uncostomised totem axes and byzzrs benedictions on my monks. Didnt bother customising the axes since the damage bonus isnt needed.

Oh in my case, it was my Kanaxai's Edge and Kanaxai's Axe, back when it was still over 100k. And of course, my obsidian set is customized. HAHAHA...

And a shout out to Akhilleus...WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU BRO?!! You could have made over a 1000 ectos....No I am kidding, If I were you, I probably would have done that to keep my most prized possession too.

Since I'm not into the whole selling trouble anymore I customise pretty much everyting I find useful.That's around 5 sets of swords, axes, daggers and scythes each. The most valuable, hm.. I think that was the req 10 chaos axe or the req 9 zodiac daggers.

I rarely customize anything...the only things I've ever customized were the following bows:

Sundering (I was noob) Ascalon (Long)Bow of Defense
Max, Req9, Blue Collector, 15^50, 10/10 Sundering (back in the days), +5 Defense

Vampiric Ascalon (Short)Bow of Shelter
Max, Req9, Blue Collector, 15^50, 5:1 Vampiric, +7 Physical

I only did it because I knew I couldn't salvage them for the mods anyways.

I customize each and every weapon that I intend to do damage with, or intend my hero to do damage with. The most expensive item? Eh, maybe my Ranger's 15^50 Req 9 Jade Longbow. I didn't think twice about it, either. Found it in a chest, and promptly customized it and dyed it Blue.

I also found a nice Scythe with my Dervish, dropped from a mob in the Consulate Docks mission. Perfect gold Req 9, Embossed Scythe, with 15^50, Furious 10% and 20% longer Enchants mods. It dropped just like that, so I took it as a sign and customized it. I also dyed it green, so it now matches my Derv's green & white outfit.

I don't customize any spellcaster items, though I use quite a few nice ones, so that I can switch them out as needed, and because ya know, the damage doesn't matter. Would be nice if they made it so that customizing a wand or staff would give +2 energy instead of +20% damage.

Not sure which is worse/better, but mine are gothic dual req8 15>50, and a purple crystalline, 14>50 req13.

People who don't customise are probably running about 7 in weapon mastery anyway, so their damage is already nerfed.

I customise everything I want to use and since I have ...24 I think it is now characters to outfit, plus heroes, I couldn't honestly say what the single most expensive/valuable item is, but it's probably one of my self-farmed req8 swords...
