Wow this is an obvious long drum roll for getting the word out for the next campaign as it being “official”; a little late indeed. I just realized that when campaign four comes out it will have some tough competition towards the end of the year. Quite a few AAA games that people will be dieing to get there hands on, including some I really want to get.

By the way , Gaile, its not a problem to scan a little part of the news on the magazine? Since i am going to receive it near March 15th, i think many many many many people would want a scan, of a little part of the news. Just a little.

I dont see what would be wrong with a scan, so long as you gave its proper sourcing. Its not being reproduced or sold for profit, so I dont see why not.
But March 15 eh, im sure a website will have a news post about it. and hey thats less than two weeks away.
EDIT- some one beat me to comment. Its copyrighted against redistribution, sale, etc etc. So as long as he cited that its from PCgamer and what not, it should be legal to post a scanned copy of the article.

I just hope is way latter, because now is not the time to have, “it comes out in two months.” I rather it after June for the next campaign to come out, because there is something else which I have been saving my reserve funds for. Only latter to find out it’s coming out within two months. Hopefully if it does it gives them time to better advertise the game and gives me enough time to save up.

Yeah!! Can't wait. Although I am not a subscriber I will get a copy as soon as I can. O and I don't think they will not like you scanning it. Why would it hurt even if you give them credit. Well for obvious reasons. Why would I need to buy the magazine if I can come here and check out the scans. Hmm, their deal with Anet won't make them much money that way will it. You could post the scans on a private site but I bet you 2 dollars you post'em here they'll be deleted faster than a dying nightmare will rend you enchantments.
Anyway can't wait for the info and Ch4, whatever it's called. I'm a hooked fanatic of GW. I plan on playing till they stop supporting it. GW FTW!

Money is money, you can't scan a magazine because they must sell it, plain and simple; Scan a magazine is exactly the same as software piracy.
BTW, Gaile doesn't deny the magazine will indeed contain C4 info, and I think part of her job is stop rumors, no? so, the magazine will really have C4 info, no?

It's obvious it is Chapter 4, everybody is saying chapter 4 news, if it wasnt gaile would deny it.
So its obvious the info is chapter 4, there is no more interesting thing about Guild Wars to put in a PC Gamer magazine besides a new chapter.

Terra, it's possible, depending on how you interpret it, that I might have contradicted myself. My ego isn't so big that I can't admit that I might have done so. lol
I get so tired of people asking for mounts and jumping. It seems that many would like to make this game more like WoW or others. I like it because it's different. I don't understand why people would like to make it pretty much the same as most other games. It simply doesn't make sense to me.
If you take the above statement in context with Guild Wars Guy's post, my response, floppinghog's post, then my response to that, my thought process might be clearer. Next time I won't type with one hand while eating peanuts, chatting to a guildie, and not pay full attention to what I'm typing.

If only thing that interested me was one article ... id say go to hell and wont buy it anyway, i will get suficient information from people paraphrasing it.
What this will cause is one thing: getting front covers on eu magazines is really hard for gw because anyone caring about gw already knows info (paraphrasing) and people not caring will, well, not care anyway.

You see, this "need to buy magazine foir one article " is exactly same stuff like "need to buy album for one song" - fundamentally wrong way to make business where downloading that song (or obtaining scaned article) is both form of protest against prublisher dumbness, resolution of problem, and generally most user friendly.
And releasing info in one magazine of far away continent similary dumb and same like "region X DvDs" - artificial scarity of information simply does not work, it only anoys hell out of people.

If you want to hear the news word for word and see any pics that accompany it, you should buy the magazine. It's possible there's something that people paraphrasing it will misinterpret or miss entirely.

TBH, pcgamer has thousands of sales every month. this forum isn't quite big enough to make a dent in those sales.
(although I am on a music forum that was big enough to hurt sales of a certain artist by telling all its members to tell everyone they know to boycott that artist )

I will receive the magazine here in Portugal in:
12 March or 14March or 19 March. Theres no 15 March, but Gaile said it was in that time... it doesnt meant it is 15March, just around it. (Alert: This is for subscribers, the spanish people will also receive the mag in those dates, if nothing goes wrong abcourse! I Dont know the others contrys, just phone it) So gaile info is correct.. and i am officially happy and very, but very very very impatient. I Can't waitttttttttttttttt!!!!
Oh, yes, guru mods and gaile will have hard work to do in those dates i guess:S it will not be because of me tought.
I hope the community will be decent and comment the new stuff in one or two topics only.
