PC Gamer Announces C4 info for next month!

Awright, you guys, so I'm supposed to deny what it isn't and then you'll have a good idea what it is, huh? I think I may need to step back and simply enjoy the speculation, because if I mention something even off-topic, like, "It's not about lima beans," someone may take that as a hidden message about the future. "OOoh, the characters will have the option to earn the new Deadly Armour of the Bean" in a future update!"

I wish I could say something.

But really, this is PC Gamer's gig and we want to let it roll. There is a point of pride, though, in speculations proved true, so... do carry on!

No, my vote is on Atlantis...that'd be cool. With lots of water, and then you can get sandals of the saviour insignia's for your armour so you can walk on water....uhh well, or something like that...

I really hope that there will be glowing weapons and many more armor choices... although if Nightfall was any indicator, I might be dissapointed

Man, I love the pre-sear catacombs! Why they not add it to post-sear with lvl32+ monsters? Just revamp it and add an entrance from Ascalon, adding some chests (without key) at the end, making it (the catatomb) a mission area (you die, you out)

GW has beautiful skies, but man, where are the dungeons? where?

I would do that except for one very very important point: I refuse to buy a magazine just for one line of text. I won't ever read any of the rest of the magazine, because I just don't care about reading articles about computer games. It's just not practical. That is actually my real reasoning behind not even trying to find a copy.

I'd just like to bring something up with this. I agree that if you download music illegally, you shouldn't act self-righteous or anything. But there is one exception: I will never buy a CD from Sony (though Sony doesn't produce many good CDs, so this isn't really a problem). You know why? Because of the controversy with Sony, where they would put a DRM (digital rights management) program on their CDs which would automatically install on to your PC and is very hard to detect or remove, creating a security risk. So yeah, there are some cases where obtaining music illegally is the lesser of two evils. I honestly don't know why people are so against it. It provides huge PR, since a lot of people who download music and really like it will go out and buy the CD.

Anyway, since this thread isn't about software piracy, I will actually get back on topic. I can't wait for C4 (I will be well and truly out of presearing with my defender of ascalon title by release, and hopefully will have finished the majority of the three existing campaigns. I only hope that Guildwiki will provide the info contained in the article soon after print. And with the late release date (we can pretty much assume without a doubt that it will be later than april, otherwise I'm sure we would have heard something by now) we will get a very good game, since much more time would have gone into it than Factions or Nightfall (although I really like Nightfall, I think the more time they spend on a game the better. As long as it's not like 5 years or something).

Lol you epople get way too excited and then expect somethign enormous. thats what leads to a bunch of you guys being dissapointed when its not big enough to be what you expected.

So, come the end of March when all us lucky subscribers to PC Gamer get the May issue... we will finally know the truth!!! Will ANET grant us a summer release or will they make us wait 'til the fall. I'm crossing my fingers on a June-ish timeframe. Why wait when most of their sales are online direct anyway?

Ah, the suspense.

Ohhhh, interesting...hopefully C4 will be a summer release, can't wait to see what PC Gamer will have for us...as mentioned, I'm not gonna get my hopes too high just yet.
