I'll find out in a couple days how I did, this was just a qualifier. Depending on what my handicap is for the tournament I may or may not make it into the semi finals. 
And yeah I was there for a little bit, but I wish I could have stayed for the entire thing...

I just dont understand what all the fuss is about. My two favorites this week are Mila Fox and Beyoncee Knowlez. I love the way that Beyoncee went out of her way to capture a pet and use that in the shot. I just love the way that she matches her kid. Also after all is said and done this is a MODELING competition. The Models are selling their clothes. In almost every other picture the models clothes are hidden behind their kid, or in some way hidden. If you look through the pictures of this week you will see that Beyoncee is the only model that shows her entire armor set. If this is a modeling competition then the models are trying to sell clothes and i feel like this is not happening with the other models, even in most of the past shoots.

- I can barely see Beyoncee, her face is so far away.
- I don't care if this is skanky or not, it's all personal opinion, but even if you were trying to portray clothing, it's too small to notice the details. Come closer.
- no connection at all with the child. if there was a wall between the child and you, get another one. Simple as that.
- Flamingo steals the shot. It's the tallest, it's the most flamboyant, and it's better looking than beyoncee.
- Pose is boring. Great that you're pointing at the flamingo, now go find me a real life fashion shot with someone posed like that. Or find a shot with an animal that is nearly as boring as this one, its nigh impossible.
- Boring background. Great that you're not in Vabbi like a lot of others, but is this honestly the best place you can find?
- Footsteps on ground ruin the rather serene mood. It's just adds more unneccessary distraction to a very messy shot.
I just don't get all this fuss! Obviously, beyoncee could have put much more effort into this shot. Anyone else trying to defend that effort of a picture can get a 10 page essay slamming them down.

If you don't like their opinions, well posting here won't change it, and neither will fighting about someone else's opinion. Yes, we know the judges are wrong sometimes, but thats what they think of it, and they are obviously picked as judges for a reason.
Along with, why is there so much drama about such a little competition? Its just a way for those who are participating to have fun and get money for knowing how to take in-game screenshots. Why care so much about it? If you lose, nothing bad really happens... They can post in the other topic if you want them to continue to post pictures...

Bierflesjes Klauw - Turning in a picture without carefully examining it for the slightest detail can really hurt you. Although we felt your picture had great energy between you and your child, we completely overlooked that because of the armor glitch.
Mila Fox - One of the strongest competitors, winner of two MOTW, and now up for elimination. You too need to pay closer attention to the details in your shot. The way you photographed in your screen made you look like a complete mess. We also wonder if you can step outside of your signature dance poses as well.
Mojave Mango Juice - Time and time again you haven't been able to deliver a picture that just blew our minds away. We chose you to participate because we felt you had some of the best application pictures there were. We know that you are capable of much, but you have yet to show us that potential in the competition.

Girls from past season of ANTM all managed to take the fashion industry by storm in high fashion editorial modeling to commercial modeling. Being a good model is being versatile in each world of modeling. So for this assignment, you guys will show your commercial side by producing two screenshots (One in "summer" wear, and one in "bikini" wear). These shots need to have a summer mood to it as well as look summer, so choose your armor wisely. Remember, one of them has to be a nude bikini shot, and the other one in a summer armor (or the closest one you can get).
(An absolutely GORGEOUS fashion spread done by Eugena, the person who should've won ANTM Cycle 7 *cough*)
In addition to taking these two different shots, you need to break down your outfit like any fashion spread would (Tell us about each garment/accessory piece, and give us a price). For example, looking at any of the reference pictures/banner (probably best to look at the banner's bottom catalog shot, see how they break down each article of clothing and list prices? Use that, and break down your armor pieces from every little thing, including accessories) You must also do the same for your bikini.
There are no questions, so after deciding upon your two shots (one summer wear and one bikini), please send it to me by May 25, 2007.

A big thank you to everyone who were able to make it to the meet! Someone suggested that we should hold a meet like this every Sunday, and I'm all for the idea. Even every other Sunday would be great! If the time is going to be a problem to some contestants (like having work every Sunday) I think we could try to arrange it with slightly different times each time, or something....
Oooh, this week's assignment is interesting. Lady Nilene, just a suggestion: I vaguely remember each assignment in Cycle 1 having an example screenshot taken by you which shows how it could be done. I think it would be nice to see this in future assignments too, since it helps the contestants with understanding each assignment a little better.
And yyh, seems like I had to leave a little too early from the party. The dancing screens look awesome, and Pery would have fit right in with her identical armor.

I love that idea. Your the judges, perhaps if we saw a perfect shot for this assignment then we would have an idea of exactly what your looking for, not all of us are as psychic (cough.. geishe)

I was pretty disappointed in how this cycle was progressing compared to last cycle.
For example, the fact that judge 3 felt the need to post a "rude comment" instead of criticism.
Anyways, I'm glad it's over.
I'll still be watching and cheering for you guys. Even though some of you are my guildies I can't pick favourites, after meeting you all the other day I love you all so much
I'll post pictures from the other day when I get a chance to crop them. We must definitely do this again, I want a chance to meet Geishe and the others who didn't come, and hopefully Maria and Lokii can show up as well.
And Melly, grats on the MotW, such a pretty shot!

. My mom decided to go to bed early and whacked me off the computer (well not really but..). Well.. hope you guys had a good time though. (maybe do this again sometime ;p?) The monks look soo beautiful... I've been wanting to try out a monk for a long time, maybe I should (but I always think it's one of the hardest proffesions, but maybe it's a challenge!)Congrats for Miss Melly! Really thought her pic was the most "touching" one (as in most feeling and motherlylike). And sorry for Mango.. I thought you were pretty good actually, but I guess since everyone's good it was hard for the judges to choose. (and more constructive comments can be good as well, judges, the drama and stuff didn't come out of nowhere) This assignment seems fun, maybe I'll try it out too. (maybe post it in feedback if I get something I like) Breaking down armor though? Like Szei Renn asked, that should be made clear. I ruled out the sample pictures from myself because they caused problems last cycle, people accused others of "stealing" and "copying" my examples, and I just don't want that to happen again. My examples are simply to prove that whatever I ask is doable, and to give some inspiration on where you can start. So we ruled that out and what you guys dont see is that in each individual assignment email that I send to each person, i do give out additional tips to help guide our contestants if they're too lost on the assignment.
I haven't had the time to do this assignment yet, but basically using Mila's summer calendar shot as a go by...  Luxurious halter top with sexy jeweled centerpiece makes this top for any sexy summer look. Top made with leather, sapphire and ruby jeweled piece. Top by Mateneh................. 5 platinum. Just talk about each armor piece like so, bring in knowledge you know about your armor (crafting material, crafter, etc). Be more elaborative, talk about stitching maybe or any other embellishments your armor may have, just be creative, its not rocket science! lol Remember, you can mismatch armor! Just please showcase everything properly!
