Your right about the reproductions the more advanced 55hp monk already knew about most of the spots, but for the just started 55hp monks this is are some pretty nice spots.
I would advice: instead of taking Healing breeze+Mending take Mystic Regen
the combo Prot spirit+ Soa+Shielding hands is better for Napui Quarter and some of the other spots

Hehe, i haven't been back to the Defend quests yet to attempt a clearance on HM. I solo'ed the Defend Denravi quest on both my Mesmer and Dervish (derv was a little more tense but faster). I think my mesmer has taken the reward though sadly, my Derv still has them uncollected so i may give it a go once i can finally leave the Boardwalk without feeling bad for missing out on Lucky

I've tried it in Anvil Rock... but the Minotaurs (which despite loving to run away, regenerate and come back, are still quite easy to kill) only seem to drop complete crap...

well in addition to the spot I already said would work (the kappas right outside of Gyala) the bugs die nicely outside of sunspear hall. I also use the healing breeze/mending variant in cliffs of dohjok on corsairs (only some of the groups) and the skales (also in issnur isles).

^^ corsairs/bugs on NF starter island (in HM) have the best chances of dropping something worth a *lot*, ie blade axes, collosal scimitars, req9 gold spiked clubs in my opinion. As such even though the chances aren't great, personally I'd recommend those guys if you really wanna make money, but its still an outside longshot. I personally have been farming just for tattooed scimitars because I want one, all I keep getting are other things sadly. But hey, why not just farm for whatever you actually want? What are you gonna use all that money for anyways? (this from someone who had it and never found a use for it).

Platinum blades are rare throughout cantha, and as far as I know nothing is really likely to drop them. My guess as too best bet are the jade knights outside of marketplace.
Shadow axes are DoA only drops, try E/A gloom?
Fiery gladius I would do Consulate docks for (Kournans), (edit) or for something really repetetive, those 2 guys at the shrine right outside of kodonur crossroads.

It isn't as if it doesn't have good mods... and you can't dye anything but the handle on standard Platinum Blades anyway. ^_~

Hey Witte, thanks for the build. I finished hells precipice yesterday and started farming on hardmode with the first build using SS and IP. Havent found a place that gets great drops yet. I did get a black dye from the Mergoyles outside the Gates of Kryta though. Any suggestions on better places to use that build? I'm not sure how to get to those titans yet. So far I have been able to take on the Hydras outside Augary Rock, the Desert Griffons and some enchanted bows/axes/swords outside of Dunes. Are there some higher lvl places to go?
And when doing the Mergoyle run, I cant seem to get past the Bog skale blighter or the mergoyle wavebreaker(not sure which). I think I'm getting an enchantment stripped or getting interrupted not sure. I mostly get through the first 5 or 6 groups of mergoyles then die. Any suggestions?

ive restarted doing the a/e sliver armor boss farming for tomes (cant even find buyers for 5k scareaters) and i must say its frickin bangin. dont even need to kd or cast extra spells sometimes to kill the boss. anyways, ive farm mindclouder, skybringer, chor, riktund, woespreader...the ez stuff. and ive gotten a tome like 1 every 20 run for each except woespreader. ive literally killed him 500times since this monday. can anyone verify that he even drops necro elite tome? i have a a few woespreaders for sale btw, 2k each lol.

Well I know I'm in HM, and I'm having poo poo drops from the bosses I solo also. So he's not the only one with that problem. And I'm doing 6 to 10 runs a night. The only thing bosses have dropped are whites, blues, and a cruddy purple or two. Most of my golds and tomes (Basic ones) come off the regular folk.

I'm figuring it might be worth trying to tackle the Constructs.... except possibly the Monk's Construct if I could somehow get around him ... (I know how persistant he is at self-healing in Normal.. In Hard Mode it would just be obscene without Spoil Victor at the very least, and the Necro 55 can't handle heavy degen).
