No, you put up PS and HB then Vigourous to cover, vigorous gets shattered and your vital enchants are safe.

EDIT: just tried this. (FoW solo) I must be doing something wrong because its going SOOOOOO slow. The monk heals the group, the shadow warriors use healing sig every 4 seconds; it mustve taken me about 20 minutes to take out one group.

20 minutes? They should go down within 1-2 minutes. Make sure you've 12 Curses. keep spamming SS!!

Sucssesfully farmed Plains of Jarin in HM, took out blessed signet and indious parasite for SoA and SH

maybe I should've mentioned that I wasn't in HM. Monk has only been to ToA, and I still have yet to beat hell's precipice...cba. Think that has anything to do with it?

Oh, when you do solo fow .. watch out for the Doubter's Dryder .. they also have Shatter Enchantment >_<

Definately yes. HM = 33% faster attack rate so SS is triggered more. Although I'm sure its possible in NM its much faster in HM.

I can take out the first group of warriors/beasts/monks and the 2nd group of monks/beasts but after that I cant get the group with mesmer and eles because I get crazy degened by that group, and abysmals just knock you down. Any help would be appreciated, or that video you mentioned would be awesome.

The degen shouldn't be a problem because if you keep spamming breeze and prot. spirit, you will heal yourself. Also, damage can often be avoided by stepping out of the aoe that the eles place down on you. (like FS)
As for the Abyssals, what I do is take on at a time. As soon as you aggro, cast IP, and then as you are fighting it, spam IP until finally its on him. As for SS, don't even try, it'll take too long to finish casting it and he will interupt yas.
Mesmers are still annoying me though...not sure how to deal with them, go to put on Prot. Spirit and they shatter it even tho I cast breeze right after it >.<

For the mesmers just make sure you put up prot spirit>healing breeze>vigorous spirit before you aggro them so they only shatter vigorous. When dealing with the elementalist's burning, I make sure i have vigorous spirit up and am attacking which gains me health off-setting some of the degen. I also make sure i have IP cast on one of the enemies so i gain life when they attack also (IP does life stealing damage).

I use a mumu for my monk 55 armor (that'd be istani 1k) I had just saved up the radiants from drops and viola!

I'd like to add some advise for the FoW farm if you don't mind...
When fighting Abbysals:
1. Try to only fight 1 at a time.
2. When you aggro them, use SS to aggro and cast IP right after that (So the Ab has SS and IP on him when he starts attacking). He'll go down in about 10 seconds that way.

I have one question about farming in Wajjun Bazaar. How do u kill Mesmers? They have expel + 2 interupts...so do u evade them or kill them using axe (lol)? :P

Look at the post directly above yours... I've explained it there...
SS, IP, let them hit u till dead... if they survive, just keep PS up (very easy to do) and try to get IP off whenever it recharges. SS cast time is too long, much easier to get IP off!

I was just wondering if anyone can clarify whether Tomes are dropping Jing Shea Island? I've been grinding the place for them, aswell as an Assasin Elite Tome from the boss outside Ran Masu Gardens, and so far haven't got anything. The Mantids drop money and purples (with the occasional gold) and the nagas i'm farming (in the cave near the Crimson base) drop me near perfect staffs, but no Tome. I just wondered if they don't drop in the n00bie island, or if you have to get to the mainland for them =<
