I'm bored at work so I'll comment....
Mesmer heroes, especially interrupter heroes change everything.
In difficult areas/HM farms that big fat boss can't kill you if they can't fire off their skills or run out of energy... or just lock em onto their monk and work on the rest yourself, easy destruction if their monk is shut down/robbed of energy.
I never understood mesmers prior to creating one and playing with them, since then I always carry a mesmer hero when I'm fighting big spellcasters especially.
Me/E fast casting nuker heroes kick the ass of anything you put it up against. When I'm not the ele n my team I take my Me/E instead of ele.
If I needed an interrupter hero then I'd rather have a mesmer than a ranger hero any day, but saying that I'd never have a ranger. They're good but don't suit the way I play.
I guess it all comes down to play style, I tend to play on the side of casters (Me/N/Mo/E/D etc).
All said and done, if you think mesmers suck you don't understand mesmers. My mesmer is my most successful PvP characted.
>Added Note - If you don't like mesmers don't use em, if you do like em then do. After originally posting I'm thinking, why is this being debated? I never take a warrior cos I don't see value in them but I don't want everyone to agree with me (even though I don't think they suck)
In the words of MC Hammer - 'You can't touch this'
