After several years, Divad got killed and enslaved into undead minion of the Dragon of Orr.

Shadow Cairsoir (A/W) -As blood sworn luxon, "Shadow" had spent many of his years fighting against the kurzicks. He had made many risky sabotages against kurzick forces (like taking all their real weapons and turned em into Candy cane weapons), he finally retired and started to live with Nika near Maatu Keep.

Aros Cairsoir (N/Rt) -after finishing off Shiro, Aros got power-hungry. He used many methods, most of them illegal, to attain more power, only to fail. At last, he heard story about the Nornbear and went to investigate the Drakkar Lake, as he thought he could sustain the power withing, But the power was too much for him, and it infused the Freezie Crown he had on him permanently, leaving only mad remains of a once so mighty necromancer.

Scarclaw Moonfang (Assasin): Spends most of his life searching for a cure to his half-brother's curse, and rejoined him in the Ebon Vanguard. He took off in despair after his failure to save him. He was last seen in The Verdant Cascades following a strange tatooed green haired woman...

It is also said he was pretty close to a Norn woman he had saved from a Modniir ambush. Finally went back to Cantha after years of disappearance, and died at the hands of the Canthan military after becoming Afflicted.

Fangclaw Fullmoon (ranger/main chara): Lives all his life with a curse he could never break. Travelled Tyria far and wide seeking a cure, then eventually joined the Ebon Vanguard where he started to gather Lore about the Charr during the frequent raids in the Homelands. Had an affair with Captain Langmar's right hand, although this is unverified information...

Finally went to the Charr Homelands on his own, and, as a result of his curse, became a Charr himself.

Both he and his half-brother went missing afterwards...

N.B: With this story i can actually play with any race I want in GW2, besides the Asura (most likely wont play them). But who knows...

Azazel The Accursed:
After the death of the Great Destroyer, Azazel - still lacking his memories from before his escape from the Realm of Torment in 1069 AE - decides to hunt down his doppleganger whom was split from his body by a Druid (in an attempt to rid his body of evil). In his search, Azazel finally corners his double on a barren and empty island north of Kryta. There the double has gained an army that was full of creatures throughout the world - all corrupted by Azazel's double's cursed sword. After a long battle fighting through the army with Zasalamel, Azazel finally reached his double where the two have their final conflict and fight to the death. In the end, they stab each other with their twin cursed blades - and in that moment, time freezes for them. Those around the two saw no movement - as if the two turned to stone - and believed them to be dead. Leaving the two in their seemingly eternal stance of what they did not knew was eternal agony. Left there, unchanged by time, the two still stand with their own blade pierced through the heart of the other.

Konig Des Todes:
A lich from ancient times, Konig grew tired of living forever, forced to help the world by the gods. He sought an end, sought a means, and searched. After nearly half a century after his old homeland, Orr, rose from the depths, Konig found the beginning of his freedom. Much preparation was needed, and so Konig isolated himself as the world fell around him - ancient entities rose around him and wrecked havoc around the world, yet he had no call from Grenth to fight these disastrous beings. In the year 1308 AE, Konig had finished his preparation. All he needed was one thing: A body of another. He chose a Charr cub, and used that body in his ritual. He thought it would bring him death, but it was not death he gained - but a new life. Konig's soul was placed inside the Charr cub's body, whose soul moved into Konig's old body. The new Charr body was strong, strong enough to subdue the new lich with the mind of a child before he could do anything. Locking up his old body with the same enchantments that Odran once used on him, Konig kept his old body out of harms way, and lived the life of a Charr - until the day he would finally have the peace of death.

Xaphan Sariel:
Always having sought all the knowledge in the world, Xaphan stayed in the Domain of Secrets since he and his allies first reached there with Kormir. Missing the opportunity to become the God of Knowledge himself, he desired to seek immortality so that he could gain all knowledge in the universe. After months of searching the Domain of Secrets, Xaphan found the spell which he sought. Having sacrificed many of the last few imprisoned Margonites and demons for his spell, Xaphan finally achieved immortality and with that, an even stronger bond with the spirits of the afterlife. Returning to the world of Tyria, Xaphan sought all knowledge - going to library after library, Xaphan read and memorized all information that existed in those books, and he never aged. When Orr rose, Xaphan was one of those who helped save parchment and, for those that could not be saved, he duplicated the scrolls - with what he felt were improvements to the original works. After the Durmand Priory was founded, Xaphan worked to transfer or duplicate all scrolls from the other libraries throughout Tyria to that location. Now, Xaphan explores the land endlessly seeking more and more information, never being satisfied with the knowledge he ever gains, he continues endlessly until the end of time...

Agares Hastur II:
After the death of the Great Destroyer, and with the world in peace once more, Agares retired to his love in Vabbi, making a house not far from the Holdings of Chohkin, along the river. He lived the rest of his life as a fisher with his Vabbian wife and two children - a boy and a girl, both growing up to be adventurers of the world. Agares led a peaceful life, his only trouble was keeping the giants and minotaurs away, but that was no issue for a former hero.

When Joko rose, Agares fought to protect Vabbi and his family, but quickly fell with his now-frail body. His son and daughter were both sent to Kryta to live with Ithaqua Zhar and his family by their mother, who could not leave. The two, Agares Hastur III and Alila Hastur (named after Agares II's dead sister), lived their days in Kryta. Agares III eventually grew up to marry Ithaqua's daughter.

Cypher of the Light:
A fallen angel of Dwayna, Cypher had fulfilled his purpose with the death of Abaddon, and has decided to serve his gods once more. Not welcomed into Dwayna's fold - for her angles were now the fallen Harpies (a fate Cypher was lucky not to have gained) - Cypher followed Kormir, the new Goddess of Truth. And in her new Redeemed Realm, Cypher acts as her general against any and all threats there may be, once more flying in the heavens as he always should have.

Zasalamel Rofocale:
Zasalamel Rofocale, after the Great Destroyer's death, helped Azazel in his search for his double. When the search came to the island, Zasalamel was the only one to fight alongside Azazel against his double's army. Zasalamel suffered many wounds and before Azazel could even reach his double. In the end, Zasalamel was killed during that battle where his legacy ended.

Ithaqua Zhar:
-no story for him yet-

Nargel Haroth:
When the Door of Komalie was opened, Nargel was banished through the rift and was tossed into the Realm of Torment by the Lich (whom he tried to steal the staff from). There he reveled in the pain of others, and when he found the Shadow Army, he forced them to let him meet Menzies the Mad. Menzies, believing he was using Nargel, had "corrupted" Nargel into their trump card against the True Gods. However, once given power, Nargel betrayed the two masterminds, and now walks the Mists as Nargel the Nightmare, a being of pure destruction, darkness, and hysteria.

Well here's my main: Strike Victor (A/)

Upon vanquishing the Great Destroyer, Strike Victor retired to the Jade Sea for some time. It didn't take long before he heard the great calls of war, to battle with the Kurzick. Many fell before his savage daggers, alongside his many brethern, he fought back the kurzick threat many a time. He became known a savior of the luxons, many bowed before him. It was not long before new threats overcame tyria but by then, Victor was dead, wearied from age and scarred from the battles. Though in death, he has not stopped fighting, for the glory of the Luxon Armada, he fights in the Hall of Heroes, waiting for when it is right to come back to the mortal realm in the guise of the weak.

KalleDamos

KalleDamos

Lion's Arch Merchant

Join Date: May 2007

Kalle Damos(necromancer): After seeing the world, saving it thrice, and killing his fair share of creatures, he settled down in Kryta. He was more powerful every year and every year was draging bodies of local creatures back to his home in the ascalon settlement to experiment on. Kalle was a brilliant mind, and had many theories and works about the Necromatic Arts, Anantomy of the Charr, Skale and other books properly published. He had seen the world, saved it from the Lich, Abbadon and the great Destroyer, but he was not even close to ready for his most diffuicult challenge. Becoming a husband and father. He married a young necromancer who idolized his work and he even grew up with in Ascalon. The two fathered a son and daughter, one following their father in the necromatic arts the other becoming a Warrior so he could protect his little sister. Kalle was a genius of his time, and before his death had over 90 works forever kept within the great libaries of Lion's Arch.

Ark Stormwalker(Ranger): After saving Tyria from disaster so many times, focus his attenton to the jade sea itself. Being born half Luxon, half canthan, he feels a duity to his people of the jade sea. He takes up the fight against the kurzick people, raiding their settlments, and earning great respect on both sides. Eventaully settles down with a nice luxon girl, and has a couple kids to which he passes his legacy of greatness amoung the luxon.

Aka Yaiba(assassin): After the death of Shiro, and the events up north he went back to his home amoung the streets of Cantha. His skills gain attenion of the Jade Brotherhood, Am Fah and the Obesidan Flame, he works as a blade for hire till he has enough gold to go back to Shing Jea and takes up a teaching possion. Does eventually settle down and has a kid, to whom he passes on Shiro's blades.

Cyrus Wyvern(warrior): Humble beginins brought this farm hand turned warrior to the greatness that brought him victory in Cantha and beyond. With the world in seeming peace, he goes home. Back to Shing Jea, back to the life he once knew. Back to when a work out was plowing the feilds, not plowing through the feild of battle. Takes care of the Family farm, and settles down to have a family of his own. His greatness never forgotten, for his old armor is still incased in his room, the sword and sheild at its feet. But his greatest Armor and greatest weapons were left in the North for he had a feeling that someone, some day may need it more than himself.

Darious Silverwind(Paragon): With the 'death' of Abbadon, and the world slowly falling back to normal he turns his sights not to his home in Vabbi, but to the calling from Istan. Someone had to take up the banner for Kormir. For awhile he was a spearmarshal that Kormir would have been proud to call her succsesor. But he grew tired of it, and let the possestion fall to another. He then went on to teach new recruits, and to tell tales of Nightfall to his children as bedtime stories, his wife always near.

Sai Rae(Monk): after the death of the Lich and the events of the norh, Sai returned back to Ascalon, his true home. Though still in ruins, he stayed and helped as many people as he possibly could. When the Charr were pushing farther and farther south Sai, like Rurik before him, lead expiditons over the mountains to the Ascalon settlement in Kryta. He settled down as one of the settlement healers, marrying a Krytan woman who had taken his fancy when he first came to Lion's Arch.

Willim Break(Mesmer): His talents for illusions and bending the mind made him a well known mesmer, but after his hero days were done, he and several other heros he knew from the shing jea monestary formed a travling troupe. they travaled all of Tyria, from Vabbi to Droknar's Forge, preforming for the people. Married a young mesmer woman in his troupe, went to father two daughters.

Varune Gehldin(Dervish): Like Cyrus, Varune came from humble beginins. A fisherman's son. So like his father and three brothers he went into the family fishing bussiness, till that bored him and once again he went to wander. He began once more to wander through the desolation, and even north into the Crystal desert, to lead travlers safely through and to offer words of wisdom. After a breif stint as a guide for Desert goes, that bored him as well and the Dervish found his calling amoung the ranks of the Sunspears once again. Rather than lead as Darious had, he taugh leaving his unique mark of teaching on each student.

Atticus Elrick(Elementalist): After taking his father's merchant bussiness over and making enough money to retire far younger then he ever figured, Atticus spent the rest of his days amoung the streets of Cantha, not a pesent, not a rich nobel, but a man of greath wealth, great heart and great power. Moving into an area he never really left after he married and had his three daughters and two sons.He funded public projects to better Cantha and make it a better place. He watched over the distric and no Jade Brotherhood, Am Fah or any rouge guilds or forces dare step in there with evil on their minds, less they be struck down by Atticus before they even saw the bispecticaled man.

Kasumi Metsuki(Ritualist):After the great destroyer had been destroyed, which Kasumi though was wonderfully ironic, he headed back to Cantha. He was a lazy, joking, genius and he was bored with all the walking and fighting. He set up reseach of his own in Cantha, knowing and haivng worked along side Kalle Damos he was trying to prove to that smug necromancer that he was smarter. He was always working on ground breaking research thinking that the answers to reverting the Elcove forest and the Jade Sea lie within the spirt world. Kasumi did marry and did farther a family and was by far the longest lived of the 10 friends, reaching a ripe age of 109, passing away only because of an explosion in the lab from putting to much spiritual energy into his Spirt Rift. From the age of 25 till his death he served as one of the instructors at Shing Jea, inbetween experiments.

Sephiro Maximus (warrior, first char ever, one of the few I have not deleted)

After the Great Destroyer's destruction, Sephiro journeyed deep into the Maguuma Jungle, slaying anything in his path. Reaching Balthazar's shrine, he knelt before the statue of his lord, and was transported into the Mists and gazed upon the god with his own eyes. Balthazar bid him clasp his hand, and in a flash, he and the god switched places, Sephiro gaining immortality and all of Balthazar's power, and Balthazar becoming mortal. With his newfound power, Sephiro swept the Fissure of Woe clean of the Shadow Army, finally engaging the Lord of Destruction in single combat. At Menzies' death, the corruption of the Tomb of Primeval Kings finally came to an end. Sephiro personally opened a new portal to the Hall of Heroes within the Tombs, welcoming all combatants with open arms.

Kristina Asininia (necro)
Upon the final death of Abaddon, Kristina and Olias found themselves surrounded by the Lich's undead former servants within the Realm of Torment. Summoning the souls of all those trapped in the Realm, they and their new army left the Realm of Torment, using the power of the formerly trapped souls to seal the Realm completely. With their newfound military might, the lovers marched across Elona, destroying Joko and recruiting his army for their own. Kristina and Olias marched through the Crystal Desert, up through Ascalon to Charr Territory. With millions of undead at their command they decimated the Charr, scattering them to the far corners of Tyria. But they had not counted the cost of maintaining such an army. So much of their souls had gone into their minions, that eventually their bodies could do no more. Locked in each other's arms, their bodies crumbled to dust, starting a shockwave that reduced their once-great army to a powder that turned Charr lands into a wasteland just like Ascalon.

Nanami Himemiya (warrior)
As Kormir rose to her new place among the gods, Nanami looked about herself. Finding no more enemies, she journeyed to Droknar's Forge, and their discovered a secret of Glint's shrine. As she knelt, the dragon's spirit coallesced around her, filling her with a power she had never encountered in all her travels. It caught her up and she soared into the heavens, leaving her world behind for new adventures beyond the stars. (cheesy ending, but hey)

Hooded Vengeance (dervish)
It was over. The great enemy of Elona was gone forever. H.V. had saved Tyria, and then Elona, from perils beyond human imagining. But as he strolled through Kamadan, he saw a young girl being raped and realized that, though the great threats had been eliminated, the threat within remained. Saving the girl, he donned a mask beneath his hood. Taking the moniker Night Terror, he became a true terror to corsairs and small-time criminals alike, keeping the streets of Kamadan safe. Decades later, leaning on his old scythe, H.V. hobbled his way to a shrine to Dwayna. Kneeling for the last time, he kissed the feet of the statue, as Grenth recieved him with open arms.

Nausicaa of Thunder (elementalist)
Though Abaddon was dead, there were other battles left to fight. Nausicaa journeyed to Tyria and led the assault against the Lich and the Titans. She journeyed north of the Great Wall alone, to finally put an end to the Charr threat. She found herself surrounded by five regiments of elite soldiers. Her flames and lightning poured through them, leaving hundreds dead with each strike. But it was not enough. Feeling her life slipping away as the Charr mesmers drained her energy, she summoned a final spell, a hidden fire chant which turned the power of her soul into an explosion. With her death, a flaming shockwave poured over her enemies. Not one of them survived.

Hot Hand Luke (warrior)
After beating his axe to dust against the fallen god, Luke was ready for a change. Because of his good repoir with the Vabbians, he accepted a position as regent to Prince Ahmtur the Mighty. Living in comfort and relaxation, Luke trained his son to take over for him, but never to need bodyguards. His body was buried in Ahdashim, his axe haft laid across his chest.

For the record, I won't be buying GW2.

After Blizzard killed the Undead Lich, vanquished Shiro Tagachi, conquered Abbadon, and overthrown the Great Destroyer, Blizzard finally returned to his homeland on Cantha to save his bretheren from extinction.
During the Great War of Cantha, the fist of the Dragon became iron and bold, destroying everything in it's path. The new emperor stopped the Kurzicks and Luxons' war, and banned all non-humans from Cantha. After this, the mighty dragons became alive once more to face humanity and their divine figures. Seeing this as the beginning of the end, Blizzard, once more, decided to save the world from peril. Grabbing his staff and armor, Blizzard steped outside into the world, and destroyed more than HALF of the Emperor's battletroops, until he fell to the feet of the Iron Fist of the Emperor. 1835 CC ~ The Beginning of the End

After many years of roaming Tyria and helping a new government take hold in Kryta, Lord Raikage goes back to Cantha to help support his homeland by helping to rebuild what the plague destroyed. Eventually Lord Raikage dies and takes Master Togo's place in the Tahnnakai Temple.

Zeal of Fire(Elementalist)
After Zeal of Fire destroys the Great the Destroyer, she goes and helps the Shinning Blade with her friend Lord Raikage. After Lord Raikage leaves Zeal of Fire continues to help the Shinning Blade rebuild. Soon after that Zeal of Fire makes her way to Ascalon to help her kinfolk. The king decides to let Zeal join his elite vanguard and help defend Ascalon against the Charr. But unfortunately a bulk of the Charr army makes it to Ascalon. Because of this King Adlebern uses the last of his sword's, Magdaer, strength to raise the dead Ascalon Guard and defeat the Charr army. Inadvertently this caused the Ascalon Guard to be eternally trapped in Ascalon defending it from Charr and Humans alike. But luckily for Zeal of Fire she had not been dead at the time, using her wits she took Magdaer and fled out of Ascalon while the Charr were fighting the undead army of Ascalon. When Zeal of Fire fled she hid the sword in Tyria so that one day someone might find it and save Ascalon from its eternal fate.

Disappeared years later - reports tell of being led away by men in red cloaks. Some Asura in the area took to naming their children after Piflo, one of whom will be my GW2 character.

I have tons of fiction written for all my characters, like literally...pages. in the interest of saving space and sparing you all from my less than bearable writing, I'll throw up a cheap synopsis of what happens to them after participating in the events sorrounding the Great Destroyer's demise.

Kliff Undersn, my warrior, continues his quest to be the greatest hunter in all of Tyria, constantly searching for bigger and stronger beasts to slay and mount on his "trophy wall". Joined by a pair of young Norn warriors, Kliff rampages across the Shiverpeaks for years, finally settling and living amongst the Norn, and allegedly fathering a litter of half Norn offspring.

Cyrus Skarheart, my necro, joins up with some of my other characters and adventures around for a few years on the pirate ship "Lyssa's Revenge". Cyrus eventualy returns to what's left of Ascalon, and is last heard from trying to reclaim his family's lands from the Charr.

Viktor Kamarazov, my mesmer, also joins the crew of the Lyssa's Revenge, untill meeting and marrying a member of the Kurzick House Brauer. Viktor lives amongst the Kurzicks for several years, eventualy losing his life when an attempted negotiation between the Luxons and Kurzicks degenerates into violence.

Jack McKennie, my ranger, captain of the Lyssa's Revenge and leader of an infamous band of pirate. Jack returns to the seas and plunders the coasts of Tyria until he dies at the ripe old age of 87, getting in to all ssorts of strange adventures. The McKennie family continues the tradition set by Jack and his siblings. To this day they own a small pirate fleet that is reportedly lead by the legendary Lyssa's Revenge.

Spearmarshal Laeris, my paragon, after witnessing the Ascension of Kormir, Learis becomes one of the new godessess's first disciples, taking a "vow of true sight" and symbolically blinding herself by wearing a ritual blindfold every minute for the rest of her life. During a visit to the Temple of Ages Laeris meets and eventually has several children with the notorious pirate Jack McKennie. Abandoning her role as preistess, Laeris joins the crew of the Lyssa's Revenge and lives out the rest of her days plundering the coasts of Tyria.

Saint Ajura and High Priest Sammael, my rit and derv, simply return to the desert from which they came, rather conveniently and easily wrapping up their story for the time being. A man claiming to be Sammael shows up at the Durmand Priory many decades later and begins assisting the monks in piecing together Tyria's fragmented history. 250 years after the fall of the Great Destroyer, a man claiming to be St. Ajura shows up at the priory and the pair mysteriously disappear several days later.

Alexander Baptiste, my monk, rather conveniently involves himself with whatever exploits his half sister Alesia Baptiste gets mixed up with in the fiction that ANet pumps out to bridge the games. The story is really going to depend on whether or not the hench Alesia is mentioned in the upcoming novels.I'll sort of have to build it around that once I actually read the books.

Rassius Faroda, my ele, joins the crew of Lyssa's Revenge for several years, chasing skirts and lecturing people on how much smarter he is than they are. He eventually settles in southern Kryta, where he takes up residence in an old abandoned estate near the coast, with a small flock of pretty young "acolytes" in tow. There he establishes a school for young witches, and lives out the rest of his days just as he always wanted, surrounded by young women. The estate still stands, though it has long since been transformed from a school to an inne, and reportedly serves as a base for the pirates of the McKennie family's fleet.

Zazie the Fox, my 'sin...well..I haven't quite got his figured out yet. I'll write it up as soon as I work up a history for the character.

Dethklok Skwisgaar - My Mesmer.

Eventually Dethklok battled his way across the world. Conquering many, many foes. Eventually, one day while defeating Urgoz for the billionth time, as he casted a spell he was mesmerized by the beauty of the spell. Dethklok accidentally mesmerized himself and sent himself into a drooling coma. For another 70 years his body has been nothing but an empty shell. With the help of longtime friend and mage, Cynn he had his body encased in ice so to wait for a possible cure.

The years fly by, and with Guild Wars 2 on the rise, he still waits.

Hm.. I'll only do a few of my characters. Others would spoil the ending of my comic (yes, I thought it all to the end!!)

(After the Great destroyers defeat)

Raldy the Bald secludes himself from human society, moving towards the Shiverpeaks. Hanging out with the Norn and the like. He becomes a true hermit till humanity will only remember him as "one of those old legends". Might be eventually forgotten.

Dansk Arcston's whereabouts are unknown. Those blasted Bounties from the last 7 years have taken a toll on his social life. His little sister is doing well though and is getting married soon.

Mirei Florite resigns from the Canthan army and starts studying the ruins in the Tarnished Coast. Lives a happy life of research with the Asura. She will later become famous for books like "My Pointy Eared Friend", "My Stone is Covered in Blood" and "Skinning Dinosaurs for Dummies".

Damn, I could only give info about 3 of my 9 characters XD

Kai Lycanthalas, my perma sin, finds that after the wars are over and peace is established in the realms, that he retires in the Jaga Moraine in a quaint cabin with a fire always in the hearth. He chose this area to retire because Kilroy always supplied him with free booze, and he loved to ski. However the constant annoyance of pesky Vaettir always causing him to run into trees during ski runs, he decideds to hire Budger Blackpowder to get rid of them once and for all, so he can ski unhindered, and accidentally blows himself up after drinking too much of Kilroys booze.

Just as a point of reference, the fall of Ascalon City happens 50 years after EOTN, and the awakening of the dragon of Orr - and Orr's return - happens 10 years after that. According to the GW2 wiki. Just something to keep in mind when planning your histories. I'll probably share mine when I get them thought out.

The only info we have on that stuff is from the Movement of the World and the Ecology of the Charr - neither of which have a date to either event. I.e., the wiki is once more not trustworthy.

Eragon Zarroc on his crazed quest for power and glory attempted destroy his opponents in PvP, spamming dragon slash and yelling "save yourselves" to no avail. After being beaten and destroyed one to many times, he cast himself out of normal society, keeping only the company of Olias, Master of Whispers, and Livia. A handful of henchmen claim to have quested alongside this fabled fallen hero, but he is so rarely seen that the stories are usually discarded as fanciful and wishful thinking. The last that was ever seen of him was in the Temple of Ages, ranting and raving about Balthazar and how his god had abandoned him. It is said that he disappeared into the Fissure of Woe, seeking to slay Balthazar in his maddening rage, wanting to claim the title of God of War for himself. Whether or not he succeded, no one knows.

It was explicitly stated by Anet that the dragon of Orr rose 60 years after EOTN, ending the relative peace the world lay in until then. And as Adelbern would already have been over 100 ten years before that happened, there's no reason to think Ascalon City's fall happened any later than that.

May I ask for proof for that?
The only thing that I've read that has any kind of date towards it is Palawa Joko's sucessful invasion of Elona 60 years after Kormir became a Goddess.

Source for the Orr incident date? I recall no such thing.

And I never said that Ascalon City's fall was going to be a long time after EotN - I simply said that there was no date said. It could happen 3 years after EotN, it could happen 10 years, or 50. With Adelbern being 61 during Post-Searing Prophecies/Factions, therefore being 67 during EotN - I would say it occured somewhere around 20-ish years after EotN, but no later than 40-ish.

But again, I have been keeping up to date with all info on GW since EotN's release, and I have yet to see a date for any event talked about in the Movement of the World. Excluding Ventari's death. I only know that the article states that "this will happen after EotN."

Edit: After re-reading the Movement of the World and Ecology of the Charr, I see a few "rough estimate" dates. More than I thought before at least. Along with some accurate dates.

Over 30 years passed in the fight between the Charr and Humans *this means from Pre-Searing (1070 AE) on to at least 1100 AE - so over 23 years after EotN did Adelbern use his sword*

Quote:
For more than thirty years, the Charr and the Ascalonians fought, back and forth, on the grounds surrounding the city.
40 years after EotN when Kalla Scorchrazor started the "true rebellion" and overthrew the Flame Legion - renaming it to the Golden Legion.

Hinting at the overthrow of Ascalon - and Adelbern's sword's magic taking place - to be around 23 year to 40 years after EotN.

Quote:
The true rebellion began some 40 years later when Pyre’s grandcub, Kalla Scorchrazor, overthrew the Flame Legion’s domination, restoring the legions to their rightful place as the driving force of Charr society and re-establishing their ancient systems.
Primordus awakens two generations after EotN - which would be 40-80 years *assuming 1 generation would be roughly 20-40 years* after EotN *With the Kalla being a fighter 40 years after Pyre, and being his grandcub (i.e., two generations) - it can be assumed that Primordus woke up 40 years after EotN*

Quote:
Although the death of the Great Destroyer, his most powerful general, set back the dragon's awakening by two generations, Primordus once again rose to create ever more minions far beneath the ground.
Order of Dragon awakening: Primordus -> "Orrian Dragon" -> "Deep Sea Dragon" -> "Grothmar" *most recent - Drakkar unmentioned in ordering*

Quote:
After Primordus, the other great dragons began to stir one by one. The rise of the dragon beneath Orr caused the entire continent to surface, sparking a tidal wave that swept the coastline and drowned thousands. In the deepest waters of the sea, another dragon breathed, twisting the waters themselves into tentacled horrors that rose from every lake and river of the land. Only a few years ago, yet another dragon erupted from the northern mountains and flew south over the Charr territory of Ascalon.
Hinted that it has been 150 years since the tidal wave/rising of Orr - meaning Orr rose 100 years after EotN *rough guess*:

Quote:
Initially, this system was designed as a temporary government for the refugee camps, but in the 150 years since the flood of Lion's Arch, it has become a stable system, a respected government, and a cornerstone of Krytan culture.
Another hint at Orr's rise is that it occured after the info we know of Cantha/Elona - Cantha became isolationist in 1127 AE - 50 years after EotN - over 60 years pass after NF when Joko took over *not when Tyrians lose contact of Elona* -

Quote:
The history of Cantha and Elona, as we know it, ceases around the time of Orr's liberation from the sea.
Quote:
In the year 1127 AE, Emperor Usoku, successor to Kisu, took a firm hold of his nation.
Quote:
Within sixty years of Kormir's rise to godhood, Palawa Joko mustered his former power and marched a new army of mummies, zombies, and other undead out of the Crystal Desert into war with Vabbi.
Conclusion - Orr rises 60-100 years after EotN.

Hints of Drakkar rising 100 years prior to GW2 *150 years after EotN - roughly 90-50 years after Orr's dragon rose*

Quote:
Over the past one hundred years, more and more Norn have been seen in Kryta and lands beyond. An elder dragon of ice and snow arose in the farthest northern peaks, driving even the most stalwart hunters south into Dwarven lands.
Ventari dies 87 years after EotN.

Quote:
Then, many years after his human companion had passed on, Ventari laid down beside the tree Ronan had planted, and died. The year was 1165 AE.
First Sylvari is born over 187 years after EotN.

Quote:
Over a hundred years later, small cocoons appeared among its branches.
That is all of the "dates" we are given as of yet.

The Movement of the World seems to indicate that Orr rose in or around 1175 AE - 97 years after the Great Destroyers defeat.

So if you put it together with the other major events between GW2 and GW1:

1127 AE - Cantha gets it new Emperor
1135 AE (Best guess) - Palawa Joko rises to power
1165 AE - Ventari dies
1175 AE (Best guess) - Orr rises
1265 AE (Best guess) - Sylvari begin to appear
1325 AE (Best guess) - Present day in GW2

And here's a tidbit from King Adelbern's page on the gw2 wiki:

Quote:
King Adelbern is a spectral king, a descendant of Doric of Tyria. His son was killed travelling across the Shiverpeak Mountains 250 years ago, leaving him the last king of Ascalon. Roughly 200 years ago, he summoned the final power of his sword, Magdaer in the Battle of Ascalon City to defeat the Charr and raise the Ascalonian guard from the dead. His ghost stands watch over Ascalon City and the Eastern Frontier to this day, guarding the land against human and Charr alike.

It is said that if Adelbern's sword or his son's, Sohothin, is returned to Ascalon City, he and his guard will fall back into the hands of Grenth, where they belong.

Wiki is unreliable. That bit about the "roughly 200 years ago" was added by Santax. As shown here. Santax doesn't seem like a legit Anet employee. Thus - an inaccurate guess.

It exists as a player controlled data-base for the community to put together info and the like. This means that there will be inaccurate data, just as there will be accurate data. When I said the wiki is unreliable - I meant that you cannot take what is on there as 100% proof. The wiki is most unreliable for canon lore. However, again, that does not mean that it is not always unreliable.

There is stuff on there that is truth, some that is speculation, and others that is gathered data. Just as on the forums.

Afterall, someone was putting his fan-fiction up there on several pages, which even contradicted canon lore. And that stuff had to be redone several times because he kept changing it.

If you look on that page, I edited the date to be more accurate to the "best guess" of what we have - 30 years after the Searing.

Seers of Truth incident comes to mind. But that's giving the editfreak too much credit.

Hence it's always best if an article has some sort of link to it's source. Like most refer to the Movement of the World article.

While its true that Wiki shouldnt be used to follow up lore, that page is kind of correct - "roughly 200 years ago" is a good estimation for when Ascalon falls.

Only if you go by roughly in that century. Unlike how Axwind took it which was roughly 1125 AE. Which, by most likely circumstances, would be off by 25 years of a best guess. Although it could also be just off by around 5 years. Although I would guess that the end of the Charr/Ascalonian War would also mean the event of Adelbern using his sword's power - therefore "more than 30 years" after the war started *1070 AE* but, most likely, less than 40 years since the war started. Therefore suggesting 1100 AE to 1110 AE - which means that Axwind's interpretation would be off by 25 to 15 years *obviously respectively*.

Except that Pyre's granddaughter didn't begin the conquest of Ascalon until 40 years after EOTN. Which means it's impossible for Ascalon City to have fallen before that.
