It never said Kalla Scorchrazor led the conquest of Ascalon. She led the rebellion against the Shaman Caste. Also, the Ecology of the Charr seems to go in chronological order - and it mentions the fall of Ascalon City before Kalla. Implying that the Charr was fighting two wars at once - a Civil War, and the war against the Ascalonians.

Besides, Adelbern, 30 years after the start of the war, would have been 89. If it was 40 years after EotN, he would have been 109. If the fall of Ascalon was after the fall of the Shaman Caste, than he would have been older than that.

after travelling through Tyria helping all who needed it, Payne helped clear the lich from the lands of Tyria, whilst obliterating mursaat, jade armors, charr, and xenophobic dwarfs along the way.
Payne then travelled to Elona and became legendary amongst the sunspears helping them to vanquish all evil foes from the lands of Elona, then venturing into the rift and doing battle with the evil god Abbadon.
After his success with the Sunspear armies Payne travelled to the war-torn Cantha were he allied with the Luxons and tried but unfortunately failed to mend frays with them Kurzicks; after this unfortunate failings he travelled through the whirlpools of the Unwaking waters before travelling back the Kaineng city and doing battle with the evil traitor Shiro Tagachi.

After all this success and world renowned fame Payne travelled back to his homeland of Tyria and settled down in the Watchtower coash with his girlfriend "Ab" and lived out his remaining years raising his offspring and keeping the idylic Watchtower coast free from evil Mergoyles and other evil beings.

40 years after the events of the Great Destroyer...

Joseph walked along the sandy, hot beaches of Kryta. He fired an arrow in jest at a skale that wandered into his path, firing a few (Less in jest) when the brood attacked. A minor threat at most, and Joseph had finished them in a matter of moments. And yet he felt... tired. An old Luxon proverb came to mind...

Even the greatest warrior succumbs to his greatest foe... his own body.

Joseph looked at his reflection in the cool waters of the bay. He was old now. His red hair was growing silver. He turned to glance at his near-lifelong companion, Shadow. Shadow was, of course, looking as young as ever. Phoenixes typically did. Joseph knew that when he did, eventually, lay down his bow for the final time, Shadow's age would catch him. Joseph knew Shadow would choose to die with him.

As the winds picked up, Joseph recalled his ten years total of training with the Oracle, Glint and Turai Ossa. He had gone shortly after the battle with the Great Destroyer, perfecting his abilities. He had afterward destroyed Kaanaxi, (Single-handedly slaying the Leviathan-a popular story among the Luxons) Urgoz, and many powerful foes. The training with the Oracle had given him a limited prophetic ability-he could manipulate the visions at his hall's scrying pool. He had seen Primordius awaken... and yet knew that when it happened, he would be too spent to fight himself. The thoughts of his people, the Luxons, and the Ascalonians facing the peril they would brought a tear to his eye at that moment.

Joseph knew he had to leave.
-------------------------

Joseph approached the Temple of the Ages. He knelt before each of the shrines, assembling the caretakers, messengers and servants of each god, beseeching them.

"I have fought threats on this world worthy of note even to the five gods. I toppled an outcast from their midsts, and instated a sixth god. I now ask for my single payment for these actions... I must go to the mists... forever. I do not wish death, not yet. I wish to live a few hundred years in the Mists first. Then I will pass with honor into the Hall of Heroes."

It was done. Joseph, with only his armor, his Storm Bow, his sword and his companion Shadow, transported to the Mists... where his true training would begin.

OoC:

Well I think toppling a god gives me a bit of leverage with the other five, eh?

Hmm. Here's what I think will happen to my main:
After traveling across Tryia and battling the Lich King, Exploring the vastness of Cantha and bringing 2 waring nations together, stopping a plague and defeating shiro, Leading a group of heroes through forest, desert, wasteland and Demonic Realm to defeat a dark god, and then being bgrought into a battle between 2 ancient races and saving the word from the great destroyer, X Dervashah X was finally finished saving the world. He took up the smaller things, like questing and searching for titles, but one day he came across a book, it showed him where to find the avatars of Abaddon and Kormir. He trecked through fire, forest and ice. Eventually he battled with the avatars, using his capture signets to obtain these powerful skills. He tried first the avatar of kormir, the area was blasted with light and he became all knowing. Then, to his misfortune he tried the avatar of Abaddon, becoming Abaddon's avatar he exploded with a mass force and died. His soul now rests at his hall of monuments. Before his will turned to madness he did have a very strong relationship with Gwen, they had a child. This is all that X Dervashah X now leaves behind apart from his Hall Of Monuments which is locked up and snowed in because of his tormented, dark soul haunting it.

I think that's what happens xD good story though eh? very brief. i think

Warchief Nightblade ~Assasin
After his heroic exploits in Cantha, Tyria and Elona; he and his band returned to Cantha to excavate artifacts and ruins in and around the Jade Sea. Tragically, the group was besieged by a Leviathan they uncovered and it killed all but Nightblade. Although he defeated the Leviathan, it cost him most of his closest allies, and his right eye. Grief stricken, he hopped a ship to Elona and bought a home for himself in Vabbi. He settled down and wrote, "The Manuscripts of a Warchief." When Joko resumed his attack, he retrieved his tormented daggers from his cellar, gave away his possessions and home, and vanished into the Desolation with the resolve to end Joko. His fate is unknown.

Warchief Thrallan ~Ranger
Blood brother to Nightblade, they parted ways after their journeys through Northern Tyria. Being a native Ascalonian, he returned to Fort Ranik and built a new stable for all his new animal allies. In his time back in Ascalon, he bonded more and more with his companions until he cast away his bow and fastened the claws of some raptors he encountered in the north on his hands, and became the first Beast Master. Realizing that Ascalon City was going to fall to the charr, he rushed to it with all his companions to the besieged city. Fighting with the fury of the beasts he had come to love, they held off the advancing charr for hours until his last companion had fallen. Blinded by rage and sorrow, he charged through the line slaughtering charr until he fell mortally wounded. Dying on the ground, his life blood surging out of his side, he sent a plea to Melandru to let him become a part of Tyria. Grenth gave Melandru his spirit, and she shaped it into that of a Lynx while depositing him near the Henge of Denravi. The great spirit of the Warchief now resides in Maguma Jungle, helping lost and weary travelers find their way.

This is kind of neat, and I had fun wondering what would happen with my characters.

--

Farai Savitri (Dervish)

Despite being a native of Istan, when everything was said and done, she chose to settle in Vabbi. She had been offered leadership of the Sunspear Order but turned it down, and instead became the leader of a small group of Sunspears who chose to make their home in Vabbi. While she taught young Sunspear trainees who wished to learn the arts of a Dervish the basics of fighting with a scythe, as well as the magic that a Dervish uses, she largely put her weapons away. She also served as a Priestess of Lyssa.

There was one thing that Farai could never do, though, and that was stand aside without a fight. When Palawa Joko began his conquest of Elona, she did not hesitate to pick up her scythe again. With the blessings of her goddess and her small group of Sunspears at her back, she went back into battle, determined to stop this undead army from destroying her home. She was ultimately unsuccessful, though; her group was vastly outnumbered by Joko's army and quickly destroyed. She herself managed to cut down a large number of the undead, using her magic to strike at them with holy attacks, but was killed by Joko while attempting to cast a spell.

It is unknown whether or not she had any children; if she did, they do not bear her name. But every so often someone hears word of a chocolate-skinned, greyish-purple haired and eyed Dervish who handles a scythe as though born to it hassling the Mordant Crescent and stating that the Sunspears will never be fully defeated.

Yui Kuromiya (Assassin)

Having always been a more solitary sort, Yui made her home in relative seclusion near what had formerly been Minister Cho's estate before the plague broke out. She did marry and have a child; while she was disappointed that her daughter did not follow her path to become an Assassin and instead favored Air Magic, she still made sure that her child was trained and sent her to Shing Jea Monastery, where Yui herself had trained, to become an Elementalist. Her ultimate fate is unknown; growing restless with Cantha, she went back to wandering the world, and was last seen in Kryta.

Lucia Cheval (Mesmer)

Lucia returned home to Ascalon City; despite everything that had happened, it was still her birthplace, her home, and she was glad to be back there. Her gentle personality and general patience made her ideal for dealing with students, and quickly she became a trainer for aspiring Mesmers. She married a fellow Mesmer and they had two children - twins, a son and a daughter. Their son shared the magical aptitudes of his parents though his talents went in a different direction and he was trained as a Monk, while their daughter discovered a love of the sword and trained to be a Warrior.

Lucia was at home in Ascalon City with her husband when it came under attack. The two called upon their magic to defend their home, but perished in the fight. To this day, Lucia's ghost still walks the streets of Ascalon City, hexing anyone living that dares enter the ruins. The fates of her children are unknown, though descendents bearing her name still exist.

Lucid Spirits [LIFE]

Ooh, fun! It's always nice to put my ideas on paper (okay, screen, whatever). Totally have had this planned forever:

Qing Guang (Rit): Dedicated her life to Dwayna, retiring from Adventuring to reclaim Zhengjo Temple from the mantids and transform it into Her sacred place in Shing Jea. She served her goddess to the last, spreading Her word and healing the people of all the islands near Shing Jea.

Gui Qiang (Necro #1 - see avvy): Became more obsessed with Grenth, gathering other local Benign Disciples into the Order of Our Lord Grenth's Benign Disciples in Cantha and arranging for the construction of a temple on the edge of the Echovald. There, she continued to work on her lifelong goal of eliminating the inherent degeneration of undead minions, trying to recover the knowledge that was lost with the death of Verata. She was never able to completely cure it, but she and her followers were eventually able to greatly slow its start and progress, allowing their creations to survive for months, even a few years with regular infusions of blood. A week before what would be her thirtieth birthday, she mysteriously became ill and died within the week. On her deathbed, she reportedly said, "At last, beloved, I can come live in your house!"

Xuta and Hineli Ahnenjei (Monk and Ele #1, respectively): Returned home (to the Star Wars 'verse, that is); Elly met her stepfather and half-siblings for the first time, and Xu was reunited with her family. Elly returned to HER birthverse (HP), dragging her mother with her, and forcing her parents to confront their actions. Naturally, it was an awkward moment when Xu met Asteria (step-mother), but after explaining that she was married and lived elsewhere, she enjoyed meeting old friends again. Elly did move in with her mother, but within a year, she, like other Travelers, grew restless. She tried to return to Tyria, but forgot to specify the time frame, and arrived 250 years after she had left. Mourning for her long-dead companions, she tries to make sense of the changed world...

Jennarose Mashaba (Ele #2): Jenna, now consumed by her thirst for knowledge, continued to travel the world seeking to learn more. In the Maguuma, she met and had a brief fling with a Ranger, resulting in her daughter Annalily. She heard of a few new threats but felt it was time to leave the saving of the world to younger adventurers (much to her later regret). Besides, she had a child to raise; she brought the girl up in the wilderness, and Anna soon grew to fight by her side as a fellow Elementalist. This would become a tradition in the Mashaba family, up to the current Mashaba, Clarabelle. Due to her isolation from the world, Jenna died after being poisoned by a Skale; no healers could be found to save her, so Anna stood by her side, comforting her in her final moments.

Medea the Younger and Ebia Okoro (Mez and Derv, respectively): Were married in a simple ceremony at the Guild Hall, with all the guild invited. Jamma the Heartless, Medea's good friend, attended but did not give her blessing, having never approved of what she referred to as Medea's "tastes". The couple adopted a Kournan orphan and named him Orpheus Okoro; he would grow into a fine young Paragon and join the Sunspears. Medea had also joined the Order, and the pair continued to fight for Elona's well-being for much of their lives, only retiring in their mid-seventies [I'm assuming GW people live longer because of healers]. However, with the rise of Palawa Joko, they took up arms again alongside their son, making a final stand in Turai's Procession. They died in each other's arms, but Orpheus was able to escape and lead a small band of Sunspears into hiding in the caverns of Vabbi. From there, they worked to regain their strength and help those trapped under Joko's rotting thumb.

Tiye Nishi (Necro #2): Achieved her goal of becoming a Vabbian Prince(ss). She stepped away, temporarily, from her family's focus on feather trading to gain a complete monopoly on ink, forcing the other Princes to accept her. She took her companion Chino Hills as a consort, reigning with an eye for trade and a masterful sense of showmanship without Bokka's gaudiness. When Joko took over Vabbi, however, she was too elderly and weak to fight (her addiction to the hallucinogenic Iboga petals had deepened, leaving her completely dependent); instead, she had the doors to her palace walled up, choosing to die on her throne alone (Chino had passed away a few years earlier). Her children fled for the caves, eventually encountering Orpheus and taking refuge with him.

Simone Abdelmalak (Para): Retired from service in her mid-thirties, having never had the heart for fighting. She moved back to her homeland of Kourna, working with the Sunspears to rebuild the nation and helping the farming villages to recover. There, she settled in Arkjok Ward as the village doctor. Despite her earlier fling with her friend and fellow Paragon Father C. "Cal" Calhoun, she ended up marrying a young Kournan man but bearing no children. Late in life, she contracted an illness from one of her patients, and due to her weak immune system, not even her healing abilities could save her. The villagers erected a small marker for her near the lake.

Jiyu Sakurai (Ranger): Spent years cleaning up after Shiro's mess. Once the last remnants of the plague were gone from Cantha, she turned to aiding the situation of Kaineng's massive lower class. She strongly advocated for renovating the slums and encouraging more people to live in the countryside, but she could not stop the inevitable expansion of urban Kaineng. When her beloved tiger Yuki died, some twenty years after he had aided in Shiro's downfall, she retreated to the wilds on the border of the Echovald and disappeared entirely. It appears that she allowed herself to wither away, dying within a few years of her self-imposed banishment.

Summary:
Qing - Died of old age, line ends.
Gui - Died young (summoned by Grenth?), line ends? (maybe Lejja Tam - Asura - will be Benign Disciple and hence spiritual successor?).
Xuta - Left universe, children are Travelers and may return with Elly
Elly - Left universe, no children yet but returns for GW2.
Jenna - Died by poison (Devourer attack), line continues to GW2 with Clarabelle Mashaba.
'Dea - Slain in combat (shot), line may continue through Orpheus Okoro's descendants.
Ebia - Slain in combat (enchants rent), line may continue through Orpheus Okoro's descendants.
Tiye - Died by starvation (walled in throne room), line may continue with Nefertiti Nishi (?).
Simmy - Died from illness, line ends.
Jiyu - Disappeared after death of pet, probably died of illness/starvation/wounds, line ends.

Since she is my main, all of the secondaries are gonna help her... kinda.

After years of traveling, Valkyrie opened in the shiverpeaks an academy where, with the help of her friends (Anya Shadowheart (A/D), Alex the Juggernaut (W/), Anyanka the Brave (P/W), Lucian Blackarrow (R/), Morrigann Aensland (N/) and Scarlett De Votion (Me/N)) she trained all the people willing in the arts of the elements and other powerful arts.

She decided it was time to settle down, so she married Alex and had babies with him: 2 girls and a boy.

After many years of training youngsters and whatnot, at the age of 50 years, she decided it was her time to leave the living ones realm. An air of nostalgy filled her mind and she went to her old dear ascalon, which by that time was totally destroyed by the charrs, who were permacamping there.

She started killing scouts, freezing them to crystals and shattering them with lightnings, wave after wave, charrs started coming from every near camp and she stood all the attacks, after several days of continuous battle, she fainted, only to realize a few days after that she was a prisoner, just like Gwen were.

And it was there, when a high priest charr told her that they were going to track her steps, to kill any kind of living being related to her. Suddenly a mysterious glow glimmered in her eyes, it was the essence of all and every elemental lord she fought through decades, their loved ones were in danger and she wouldn't let that happen.

Clouds started gathering and winds were chilling through flesh and bone, a lightning storm began and charr knew what was causing it.

They promptly ran to her cell only to find her in a trance, with her skin becoming obsidian and ice, in a transparent smokey form... it was then when she released every bit of power left in her: a freezing wave of crystals that destroyed everything in a 10 mile radius, leaving behind a winter that lasted many years.

Ik Breek Je Nek *called Breek for shorts* (Warrior)

After saving the world of Tyria from the threaths of the Lich, the return of The Betrayer; Shiro Tagachi, Golems that went haywire, the Destroyers, The Stone Summit Dwarves, and even The Forgotten God; Abbadon, and Breek was hailed as a hero.
They all knew him, but few have met the Legendary Warrior in person.

Many years have passed, and like many great legends, the people started to doubt over time if Breek's legend was true. After all, many legends have their roots in Myth. The truth is, after Breek's victory over The Great Destroyer, he left the surface world, and went underground. Trough his travels across the world, Breek learned a lot about The True Gods, and their control over the worlds. He found out that the Gods created "The Hall of Heroes", to seal away great, mighty heroes, instead to honor them. The Gods where afraid that if Heroes find out what they are really up to, the Heroes would rally the people to revolt against Them. Breek knew, if he went underground, the Gods couldn't do anything against him. In his years of hiding, Breek has learned powerful magic, spells that He could use to enter the dimensions of The Gods. He wanted to put an end to The Gods control over the world, by going to their dimensions and slay them himself. Breek also knew, that after the defeat of The Great Destroyer, all those years ago, he awakened "ancient evils", evils that rival the power of The Gods, so he knew he had to hurry, because he was the only one that could stop The Gods. After learning one more spell from Freezie, that made him more resistant against the great, divine power of The Gods, he started with his journey to Their realms. He first battled Balthazar, because Balthazar was the only God that could rival Breek's enormous power.
Eventually, after a long, blazing clash, Balthazar was killed, making Breek even more powerful. He then traveled to the other Gods, killed them, and also gained their powers.
Breek, thinking he was victorius, found out that the deaths of The Gods caused the "ancient evils" to awaken, one by one. Those evils, in the forms of great Dragons, where said to rival the power of The Gods. But in fact, the Dragons where much, MUCH stronger. Breek, realizing what he did, tried to stop the Ancient Dragons. He tried, but eventually, Breek succumbed to the Dragons brutal power.
Ironicly, the Legendary Warrior, who saved the world all those years ago, now led to it's comming destruction.

And this is where the story of Ik Breek Je Nek ends

Defending Fort Aspenwood

E/

Hyper Nl (Elementalist)

After years of war we finally managed to free the Kurzick lands from the Luxon invaders. Turtles no longer roam towards Fort Aspenwood. While a peace agreement was never signed the Kurzicks and Luxons rarely cross borders again and they finally respected each others forces and territories.

During these years the defences were lowered and many of the lands have been rebuilt. This ultimately became a fatal mistake when suddenly the armies of Emperor Usoku were marching into Kurzick territories. The first towns fell without much resistance. Even the mighty House zu Heltzer was left empty when we fled towards the last bastion: Fort Aspenwood. Initial battles were won. During the years of peace we managed to mine a great quantity of Amber to fuel the Vengeance of the Gods. But the Kaineng armies returned in even greater numbers that we simply could not match. This is where I was defeated; during the final battle at Fort Aspenwood.

By today Fort Aspenwood lies shattered. Hardly anybody dares to enter it's remains. Legend speaks of the Vengeance of the Gods, in form of the spirits of the fallen Kurzicks that still haunt here.

Angel Sharks [As]

Countess of Carnage, who received that title for her terrifying experiments on captured Charr, didn't die a glorious death; she withered away with old age. With weakened bones and a failing liver, her body finally failed her. She was 63 years old.

After the fall of the Great Destroyer, she devoted much of her time to assisting her beloved Krytans with food, medicine and other supplies from all over Tyria. Her new found connections with the Asura gave her access to key warp gates to allow fast travel, which became more important with the increased pirate activity in the Sea of Sorrows.

As her riches from across the lands increased, and the hordes of undead around Lion's Arch decreased, she eventually settled into a nice village in the North Kryta Province, where she furthered her research in necromancy and other arcane arts. As time went on, she started to lose mobility and required the aid of servants - or, minions. Her ghoulish aides created much discomfort among the locals, especially since they had finally rid themselves of the Lich's mess of undead. She was forcibly removed from her home and exiled from Kryta. While the exile was not decreed by the monarchy, and Countess could have pleaded with Queen Salma, she chose to move on.

She eventually settled down deep in Majesty's Rest, making a home out of the ruins that once housed the most feared bone dragon in all of tyria, Rotscale. The fruits of her research had supplied her with undead servants that do not degrade with time - essentially, immortal drones. By then, however, she had discovered her failing liver.

For three years, Countess of Carnage tried to find a cure or some way to reverse the damage. In that time, her loneliness consumed her, as well as the fear that she would have no one to pass on her bloodline. With her final necromantic spell, she raised a minion with tremendous power, durability, and even a sense of intelligence. This was her child. It was undead, sure, but it was hers - it was made with drops of her own blood. A few days later, she passed on, and the minion buried her body nearby.

The minion still lives, 250 years later, standing as a guard over her tomb. It is instructed to slay any who pose a danger to her. Inside the tomb are Countess's memoirs and spellbooks.

Ranger (Archress Shayleigh [Main])- Driven mad by boredom, Shayleigh decided to go wild. She dressed as a Tengu and lives with the Quezels of the Tarnished Coast. When she got old she died and Tengu ate her. Folk say she hadn't died- only her humanity did, and she lives to this day as the most beastly Tengu of all; Shaughi The Unforgiving.

Paragon (Yawku Otherneeds)- Took control of the Norn, and got assassinated after being elected ruler of the Norn.

Assassin (L I T E Stalker)- Hid in a cave in the Ring of Fire islands after Emperor Kisu made some moves on him.

Necromancer (Calyssa Deathspawn)- Committed suicide.

Warrior (Soho Teh P W N E R)- Rebuilt Ascalon and it's throne, declared himself king, killed a few hundred thousand Charrs, ruled over the Charr Shamans and conquered all of Tyria! (Then his son, his name yet unknown died from a horrible sickness. Soho couldn't take it any more so he drowned himself and made the Lichs spawn, Licha, take his throne and destroy all that we know and love.)

Elementalist (Sapho Silksqueezer)- Died a horrible death in torture after being accused of betraying king Soho (Lmao Soho and Sapho were never good brothers). Legend says that Sapho and L I T E are those who assassinated Yawku, and were sent by Haruj (The new Master of Whispers)- Jurah's (The old Master of Whispers) brother.

My Assassin, Dead Serious Sin, ventures into the mists to seek immortality after all his momentous achievements defeating the likes of The Lich, Shiro Tagachi, and Abbadon. He ventures in with his team of heroes and only one returns. The Warrior Koss, tells stories and tales of him, and he lives in history forever as The Legendary guardian (my title)

My Ritualist becomes the new leader of the Shing Jea monastery, replacing master togo, and teeches his ways before sadly passing away early because of a disease called "Tengu Flu" (i found it funny:L) and becomes a ledgend.

My Necromancer becomes Hellbent on ridding the world of people he deems not worthy to be in it. He summons a minion army and attacks the palaces of the three princes of vabbi, destroying them all. Afterwards he then makes his way to The temple of ages, and knocks down all of the statues of the gods, but doing so ends up permanently being taken into the Fissure of Woe, serving Balthazar as a slave for eternity.

Thats what i would hope

Vickon, despite being half Kurzick, toured around with the Luxons for a while before his general dislike of everyone and everything makes him retreat to an isolated corner of Asura land, constantly refusing every request for him to join the Zaishen elite. Disease eventually claims the bitter and spiteful elementalist, and he finally is entombed in Vabbi. He probably winds up getting rezz'd by Palawa Joko and is subsequently pissed.

Celand finds himself a nice Norn lady and retires to a farm up in the mountains. He has something like 7 or 8 kids.

Trystane becomes a valued leader amongst the Sunspears. He retires quietly after a long and illustrious service to his home village in the Mehtani keys and dies shortly afterward, surrounded by his loving children and grandchildren.

Seo dies horribly in a Nercromancy experiment. Horribly.

Myrielle works tirelessly to restore her homeland of Ascalon, though she is eventually killed in a skirmish involving some rogue Charr.

Moresca, after growing bored of adventuring, begins operating in her homeland of Vabbi as an instructor of the dramatic arts. Her tutelage produces some of the finest stage actors of their time.

Tortellini:

Tortellini travels about the vast world of Tyria, exploring every nook and cranny, before tiring from the mundaneness of it. He decides, that old as he is, he will start on an adventure. He aids the Ebon Vanguard bravely in the most dangerous of missions, using his superior knowledge of Ascalon to the best of his ability. It is doing these missions that he sustained is only injury, and a minor one at that --he thereafter had a scar running down his back. He was asked by Langmar to stop doing these missions, as they were becoming ever more dangerous to him. Bitterly, he did. He then came to the Asura, learning as much as he could from them, and became one of the best scholars they had ever had, adding to their own considerable knowledge of magic and the world. Then, he came to the Norn. He was determined to show them while fighting alone was good for glory, it was not good for fighting battles. He became a bit of a story teller to them, sitting around the fire in Gunnar's Hold and entertaining them for hours on end. Then, he decided he was going to do it. He went down the pit that no-one had returned from, taking three strong norn warriors with him. He was lost for while, for 10 years he was missing, and it was a sad time for the norn. One day though, he returned from the whole, shaken, disturbed and crazy. He wondered about Tyria for years, before seeing something that returned his memories --his hall of monuments. He then led one final crusade, one last mission - that of a diplomat. He died at the hands of Palawa Joko, whom he himself had brought back from the dead many years ago. His body was recovered, and he was buried in his Hall of Monuments.

Then, she uses her amazing skills as an assassin to aid the emperor in striking down key leaders of the Luxom/Kurzick war, completely in secret, of course. She is then asked to take the position of assassin master at the Shing Jea Monastery, which she gladly accepts, but she has eyes on the bigger fish. Late one night, she creep into the chamber of the head of the monastery, and slaughters him in cold blood. Being the most senior headmaster there, she is chosen to become the Headmaster of the monastery itself, which, of course, she naturally accepts. Having all that she wants, she lets her guard down, and her favorite student stole her colossal knowledge base, and discovered that she had killed the previous master. He kills her in her sleep, and alerts the masters why he did so.

Wow, interesting thread. I love coming up with stories like this.

Sir Jonii, Elementalist (PvE)

After the defeat of the Lich, Shiro, and finally Abbadon, Sir Jonii began to spend his time in the Tarnished Coast aiding Asuran efforts in establishing themselves on the surface and fighting in the ongoing war between factions in Cantha, fighting for the Kurzicks. The rare free time he had he spent with friends or writing his autobiography.

In his later years, Sir Jonii spent much of his time in research of ancient magics and civilizations with the Asura while going to different locations throughout Tyria, Elona, and Cantha, writing an autobiography and attempting to write a history of the known world and its magics. In his very late years, he gathered his books (both written by and collected by him) in a small pentagon-shaped library located inside an Asuran lab.

With so much history lost to the world, unrecorded history from before the time of man, Sir Jonii decided to hide his collected information so that the important events of the present won't be lost to the ages as well. He hoped he could seal it, protecting it for hopefully at least an age. One day, feeling that his time had come, he used the last of his magical strength to seal himself inside with powerful magic. He then pulled a book off of a shelf, sat down, laid his staff (which he now used as a walking cane more often) across his lap, and let the last of his strength leave him. Due to his deeds, his spirit was allowed to enter the Mists.

Doctor Von Grenth, Necromancer (PvP)

After so many years studying Death Magic and fighting in the war between the Kurzicks and Luxons, Doctor Von Grenth had aquired great magical power, but his already small physical strength was failing with age. During a very desperate day for the Kurzicks in which they were pushed dangerously close to their capital by the Luxons, he summoned an immensely powerful and numerous army of reanimated minions. The army fought off the Luxons, but he had overestimated his skills with Death Magic and summoned far too many. In a single moment of weakness, he was killed by his own undead minions.

The Zodiac Elites [TZE]

Mo/

After countless years of exploration, saving races and flexing her muscles solo against countless hordes of nameless foes, Ying Tze finally hangs her rainments up and retires to a more serene lifestyle.

She was born into a peaceful world of Tyria, chatting regularly with the like of Rurik, Gwen and company, occasionally foraying into the lands to repel the Charr and the likes. Until the Searing got her little body's blood boiling. So the mission started - to destroy the very thing that had upset her peaceful life.

On her travels, she met some interesting characters - both friend and foe. Through the snow of the Northern Shiverpeaks, through the green-ness of Kryta and Maguuma Jungle and into the arid desert plains - all was taken in stride, continuing another quest (to heal proficiently) and gaining the experience to do this. Once the nasty man who liked to copy her was quickly disposed of, it was on to say hello to Glint and thus reach the epitomy of places most sought - Droknars Forge. Onwards she strove until she reached a wonderful, albeit cold, place of rest - Thunderhead Keep.

All of a sudden, she found a new power. So many mortals requiring her company through this part of Tyria, it was hard for her to keep up and not make enemies by, politely, refusing their company.

Once the Fire Islands were reached, she found it considerably warmer (as she is a little bald headed girl), therefore got to use her skills much better. And once The Undead Lich had been duely dispatched, admittedly 3 times he popped back to continue chatting, she could finally rest at ease.

So with this new-found peace (after despatching numerous Titan hordes), she relaxed into a spot of Griffon duelling and Underworld exploration until she could afford to retire.

Alas no, a new threat appeared in another land and, upon the calling from Mhenlo, she duely boarded the boat bound for Cantha.

Shiro and his threat was deemed as impending doom to the world. But no, the little monk had other ideas. With her new found hench-friends, she embarked on travelling through this new land, noting its beauty (and strange maze-like street layouts from the ancient builders..). As she ventured further, new skills were learnt. She listened to the 2 factions too until siding with the slightly darker natured Kurzicks, who (for a 'small' amount of money) allowed a new set of armour to be obtained in Vasburg Armoury. Suitable attired, she ventured further into this strange land..

Before she realised, she was meeting Shiro face to face. In conjunction with her necromancer ally, Felinus Calliope, Shiro's return was shortlived. The small monk had won through again. So it was back to peace and griffons. Until a meteorite decided to land in the desert and bring with it new foes stopping this little duel from taking place. So the frustration of this (after a bout of meditation) was taken out on the residents of the Underworld.

For a time, she was happy. Until Varesh and company decided to gatecrash the harmony in the world. So she packed her armour and weapons and boarded the boat to Elona.

Here she made some lifelong friends - Tahlkora, Koss and Sousuke. She grinned at Koss' hairstyle and trained Tahlkora in her skills. Sousuke was left out in the cold, being asked to use skills he most certainly did not want to use. In the end, he was forced into submission.

This band of friends were further joined by Dunkuro, Mellonni, Master of Whispers, Olias and the four-hooved wonder Zhed. In conjunction with her hench-friends, the battle was taken to Varesh. And duely won.

Or so she thought. After learning of the true force behind the trouble, she set off yet again to defeat Abaddon. And shed a tear when losing Komir. And then struggled in the Domain of Anguish. Not even her legendary monking skills could cope. So a long bout of meditation and rethinking enabled her to vanquish the threat from this area.

Three lands cleared of threats. She felt good. She also, must to her consternation in latter years, got into titles. How she regetted it. But a challenge is a challenge and is of the type that once started, it must be finished.

So, while allowing fun and games to be had in Eye of the North, she continued on this quest. Slowly they were achieved. Until the very day she needed to do this no more. Celebrations were had, friends were with her. She felt complete.

So she now lives outside of Shing Jea Monastery, living the life of a monk. She teaches the noble art of monking still, occasionally venturing out into the world at the bequest of her friends. Her little house contains her prize possesions, much like her HoM does. Ever at peace but just as ready to fight when, if, called upon.

My Character’s Retirement:

Lord Sethiroth climbed the last rock and he arrived at his cave. Yes, it was his home for the last 32 years now. He went in, threw the Moa bird that he had previously hunted on a self-made table. He advanced deeper into his „home”, lied down on his bed and started relaxing. He remembered his life: the Legendary Guardian, Vanquisher, Cartographer of all the lands of Tyria. He was in good friendship with the Dwarves, the Norn, the Asura and the Ebon Vanguard. And still, he threw away his old life, for incredible powers that were not in his possession yet. „But soon it’ll be all mine!” – he thought.
Let me explain what happened to this once great champion.
33 years ago, he had been slaying the powerful creatures of Tyria, Elona and Cantha to collect their precious elite skills. He had progressed quite well. The last skill he had been searching for was a Dervish skill which enhanced the body and increased the speed of the user’s arms and legs. People had known this skill as ’Onslaught’. Sethiroth had found a spirit who used this skill to slay the intruders of her sacred lake. This spirit was Myish, Lady of (Drakkar) Lake. The Lord had killed the elemental being without any difficulties, but while he had used the Signet of Capture to harness its power, the long dormant Ancient Dragon below the ice of Drakkar Lake had entered Sethiroth’s mind. The Dragon had changed him and turned him into his servant in exchange for untold powers. Lord Sethiroth had had no choice but to obey. The old Lord was no more. There was only a man with incredible hunger for power. He had pretended to be good, but he’d had plans. This plan was his master’s idea however. The ancient one told him how to help the Ancient Dragons the most - in exchange for great power. He’d had to scout and spy the great races of Tyria: the Asura, the Norn, the Charr and the ever-declining humans. He had gathered informations about the Asuras’ technological devices, acquired plans of the Charr war effort, the locations and headquarters of each Charr legion and warband and examined some of the Charrs’ most destructive weapons of war. On the Norn he hadn’t had to spy much. His master had seen everything about the Norn people before, when he’d entered Svanir’s mind: pride, individual characteristics, bloodlust and stubborness. Although, Lord Sethiroth had found the secret about the strength of Norn weapons and armours. About the humans he hadn’t had to find much. The dragon had seen everything about humanity too and he had found them quite interesting.
After the Ancient Dragon dismissed him for awhile, he returned to his mountain residence in the House of the ex-minister of War, Wona. He hadn’t known, but he had been followed by one of his old friends. This fellow had known everything and organized an assault on Sethiroth’s house. They’d killed his underlings and burnt down his home. They had thought he is dead, but the Lord had managed to escape by wandering deeper and deeper in some old cave tunnels unknown to the most, until he found an ancient and forgotten Asura Gate. He’d returned to Boreal Station by using the gate and went through the cold Shiverpeaks until he’d reached Jaga Moraine. Sethiroth had found a cave there which had become his home later. He had survived there day-by-day.
32 years have passed. Sethiroth didn’t age like a normal human because his master had given him some power for his successes.
He opened his eyes. He smiled because he knew, that the time for his reward is close. ’Just a little while now’ – he thought – ’and my master shall call me again.’ He went to the main hall of his ’home’ and started to cook the dead Moa bird.
His prediction was true. After two years his master whispered him. He went to the Drakkar Lake and witnessed as the creature erupted from the frozen lake. After this, Sethiroth was granted with the powers he has been chasing for 35 years. The Ancient being has given him a special ice-encased armor and blade. Of course he was given the right to comandeer the icy minions of the dragon as a general. He was the Blade of the Dragon of Ice and Snow. After this ceremony, the elder one sent a full-scale assault on Norn lands. Under the command of Lord Sethiroth they’ve slain every Norn who opposed the great dragon's will.
Now he sits on his throne amongst the ruins of Gunnar’s Hold like a statue. He’s waiting for the next order of his master.
Behind his frosty helm he laughed. Laughed at the weakness of his former self. He knew that the old heroes of Tyria are dead now, or dying. ’My old friends. If you would’ve followed me instead of protecting the weak and the unworthy, you could’ve seen this. You could’ve experienced true power and you could’ve lived forever!’

I hope you liked it. Don't take the post seriously, My character shall not become a main antagonist in GW2, it's just a fan fiction. Although, if Anet would offer me this opportunity I would not hesitate to accept it!

This seems interesting, so i'll give it a go.

[Ele] "Archmage" Teirciel Eversong - After returning home to Ascalon, realizing the only things there were bad memoiries and a stubborn king, he left Ascalon, only to return to visit the graves of his parents. He traveled Tyria in search of ruins and wisedom long thought lost. He documented every inscription he could find in a seires of tomes that he personally magically sealed. He eventually settled down and fell in love with a Kurzick priestess of House zu Heltzer. He retired at the age of 36 to teach in the most prestegious magic acadamies in Echovald and later Vabbi. His tomes would later become some of the most sought after tomes the world over, however, only a decendant could ever open his tomes and use the magics sealed inside.

[Mo] "Dusk" Areandir - Dusk returned to Ascalon to rebuild his old home-Serenity Temple. With the help of Mhenlo amd Cynn, they were able to protect it and make the temple beautiful once more. The temple served as a ray of hope for all of Ascalon and even the Ebon Vanguard half a world away. Dusk's efforts to heal the suffering of a lost people earned him the title that would last generations - Saint of the Heart.

[Mes] "Archsage" Remiel - Returning to the Ascalon Refugee camp in Kryta, he became a figure of power among the ascalonians and was invited to become their leader, and Queen Salma's left hand while Evennia, her right. He couldn't resist-so he accepted on the spot. From then on, he created a plan-to make Kryta the new Ascalon. He would start by spreading lies and mistrust among the people in hopes of a conflict, then while the country was in chaos, he would assume power and re-create Ascalon. His plans however were discovered by Evennia and Salma, he was then promptly be-headed.

So there they are, please forgive me for any spelling errors.

O.K. My char, X Silver Mist X (Dervish), is going to retire in Vabbi with Talhkora and and help her father control his part in Vabbi. LOL

My ranger, Ranger Leia, after defeating Shiro (tho shes a Prophices char), will settle in the Echovald forest and bring fabulous art and music to the Kurzicks and then, later on in her life, become headmaster of the Shing Jea Monastery.

Then, my Fire Elementalist, Ele Bella Swan, is going to burn Kryta down, killing the White Mantle, the Lionguard, and everyone else (excluding the Ascalon Settlement) with it. Thankfully it doesn't spread to the Magunum Jungle and the Tarnished Coast.

In GW2, my Sylvarri char (No Name yet) has heard of X Silver Mist X saving the world 4 (yea she completed all the campains and EotN) times and wants to be like her and save the world from the Dragons that are invading her world.

Adam Engel (My Necromancer main):

After unsuccessfully trying to assist The Lich, Shiro, and Abbadon. Adam falls into a drunken stupor and travels the world trying to convince everyone that "It all would have worked too, if those 7 jerks hadn't followed me around everywhere."

After drinking it up with the Norn for several years, he decides to go help out on the ebon vanguard/charr front. It is never known for sure whether he was fighting for the charr, for the vanguard, some kind of double agent, or even possibly a triple agent. The truth (that would forever remain hidden) was that he would show up at both camps randomly, and kill indiscriminately in battle. All while drunk of course.

He died due to liver complications.

Many years later, a severely misinformed historian began a campaign on his behalf to credit him as a hero and posthumously constructs a Hall of Monuments in his honor.

And even more years later, Adam Engel's hall of monuments is inherited by a man who's great-great-great-great grandmother was unfortunate enough to live in one of those Ebon Vanguard camps and who happened to have a thing for tall, pale, drunk, obnoxious necromancers (as her memoirs inform).

Giga Strike [Mo/Me]: After the defeat of the Great Destroyer, Giga Strike joined the Ebon Vanguard in their efforts to stop the Charr. Using connections in the Order of Whispers, he also had reinforcments brought in from Elona; the routes used later became the underground railroad that Whispers informants followed to bypass Palawa Joko's forces hundreds of years later. Though valiant, Giga was not accustomed to fast-paced guerrilla warfare, and was not able to keep up with the Charr's movements. In a last effort to prevent a direct assault on the core Ascalonian cities, he lead an ambush in the Diessa Lowlands, near Grendich Courthouse. Due to the immense size of the Charr army, Giga Strike's forces attempted to buy time by drawing the battle towards the Shiverpeaks and away from Ascalon, but they were ambushed by a herd of hydra. Surrounded and faced against a nearly endless army, Giga Strike's force was eventually destroyed. His decendants continued to fight for Ascalon, but when Ascalon City finally fell, they retreated south and joined the Order of Whispers.

Ashley Soulripper, Ashley The Reborn [W/Mo, D/Mo]: During the climactic battle against Abaddon, Ashley Soulripper's body was crushed and thrown into the abyss that made up the Gate of Abaddon. Due to her strong sense of duty and desire to fight evil, the newly ascended Kormir rewarded for her sacrifice by retrieving her soul and recreating her as the Istani, Ashley The Reborn. As thanks, Ashley dedicated her new life to the Sunspears. There was very little that she remembered of her past life and knows only the cause of her death and resurrection, as this is all Kormir had told her. A devout follower of Balthazar, Ashley lead the reclaimation of the first city, Fahranur, and assisted in defeating the remnants of Abaddon's army that were still in Elona. Due to her actions, she was, once again, granted new life at the time of her second death and was promised more resurrections as long as she continued her work. Near the end of her third life, Palawa Joko began his invasion on Elona and the head-strong Ashley died trying to fend off the undead hordes. Though Ashley requested a fourth life to attempt to defeat Joko, Kormir knew that it would, once again, end in failure and resurrected her as a Norn instead of a Human so that she could rally forces from other lands.

X Apollos Angel X [N/Mo]: Ever searching for greater power, Apollos Angel betrayed Giga Strike, Ashely Soulripper, and others in the Realm of Torment so that he could keep the Staff of Mists for himself. After his cushing defeat, he wandered the nightfallen lands until the true heroes brought Abbadon to an end. After returning to the normal world, he made camp in the Basalt Grotto and thought deeply about his life. Soon afterwards, he came to the conclusion that he had been held back by his team-mate's "goody two-shoes" mind-set and realized that the only way for him to become stronger was to set out on his own quest; and with that, he traveled north into the Crystal Desert with the intention of uncovering lost magic...as the Undead Lich had. Finding only meaningless artifacts and tomes soaked to the point of being unreadable, Apollos thought back to how the Scepter of Orr wold have been his if it weren't for an unseeable force, and how his former team-mates had robbed him of certain power. In a rage, he summoned up a ship and undead crew and set off for the Maguuma Jungle. It was then that he finally had some success. In the middle of the jungle, he sensed great and familiar power. Following his senses, Apollos discovered the grove that had become the resting place of the Scepter of Orr! Approaching the Scepter, he suddenly began to feel his life draining away; assuming it was the Scepter trying to defend itself, he pressed onwards to claim his prize. He heard a female voice cry out "Stop and leave the Scepter of Orr alone!". Turning around, he saw Livia charing at him. Weakened from her spells, he could do nothing to stop her from rending his soul from his body and he fell limp. Enraged from being denied absolute power for the third time, he fought the chaos of the mists and returned to Tyria as a spirit. Using the last of his focus, he possesed an Asuran who was out studying the surface world. Using his diguise, he mingled with other Asurans and actually became quite fond of their company. He rested and learned for many years, possesing new bodies at the end of each Asuran life-time until the present day.

Oh how I love to give game characters backstories and futurestories.

My Ele, Pepper, eventually reunites with her father at the Eye of the North, and he couldn't be prouder of his little fire witch. She settles down in a cozy cabin in the Shiverpeaks with Kahmu, making potions and spells in a workroom at the back of the house when not too busy chasing her magically-inclined daughter Ginevra (named after her sister who was deleted...I mean, died tragically in Kryta) around in the snow. Pepper remains good friends with the Norn, as her ability to hold her alcohol and win fights while dressed in pretty clothes impresses them to no end.

My Necro, Siren, continues to work with the Sunspears, refusing to return to what's left of Ascalon as she already knows it's a lost cause. She eventually has a daughter herself, who she names Alianora after the lady Necromancer who raised her when her village was destroyed. She maintains a cautious friendship of sorts with Palawa Joko, ensuring the safety of herself and her few remaining friends as he begins to corrupt the Sunspears and seize control of Elona. No matter how far around the world she wanders, Siren never stays away from her dearest friend Pepper for too long. Their families remain closely linked, their daughters' daughters as good of friends as their ancestors were.

My Ranger, Madelynn, leaves the warmth of Elona behind to explore the realms of the gods and the farthest regions of the Shiverpeaks. She has a compulsive need to seek out danger, most likely due to the loss of her family (her brother was delet--killed in the searing, and her sister met a remarkably similar fate halfway through Kourna). Through her darkest moments Maddie never fully turns away from Dwayna, and in her old age takes vows and lives as a reclusive sage of sorts in the mountains. She never returns to the Sunspears in Istan, even though for a time they were as close to family for her as she could have.

My Mesmer, Jaenelle, lives with the Asura. She has a remarkable gift for understanding their complex way of thinking and for explaining it simply and rationally to other bookahs. Jaenelle simply adores Vekk. The two work together on a number of projects that help to spread the magical technology of the Asura throughout the world. Jaenelle becomes renowned in human society for her mastery of subtle magics and mechanics, and is often called upon by various nobility and dignitaries for her services.

Those are the only ones I've reeeeally thought about, since they're the characters I play the most. I'm sure the rest of my girls will eventually have stories of their own one day.

A magical force bestowed upon their battle gear allowed only the descendants of the brave heroes to weild their arms again (could this be "customization"? lol)

Im bored, give me a break.

Thy characters die a horribly painful death against the undead Orr. Watching them perish with regrets empowers my black heart. I shall show little empathy to you characters forsaken death.

Beware Zhaitan, Halloween controls the undead.

My main, Brutus Godly and of the Warrior class will have settled down near Gunnar's Hold with Jora, having some children with her (4, maybe? 3 sons and a daughter). His children would have gained great strength as being of human/norn mix.

Effectively, the many norn rejected this mixing of Norn and human, but later found to respect Brutus and his kin due to the great many deeds that were heard of Brutus' adventures in Elona and Cantha alike.

Brutus would have not lived around the time Jormag the Drakkar dragon and its legion drove the Norn back into the Southern Shiverpeaks, but his children were presant at the time. Two of his sons gave their life defending Gunnar's from Jagar and its horde. While his last son (ironically name Brutus as well) wanted to defend the Norn people with his life, but his sister (not sure the name) convinced him to flee with her as he will be needed with the fleeing Norn to fight in the hunt another day.

Since the day of the exodus from Gunnar's, Brutus's bloodline has served as leadership among the Norn, and has been regarded as "one with the bear" among the norn. However, Brutus does not posess the ability to turn into the bear, his sister does however(Hooray for XX gene legacy).
-----------
I would go on but I am quite confused on how I would work Brutus' sister into the whole lot, so I stopped, lol. Mind you the generational year span would not jive with the 250+ yr. between GW1 and GW2, but just roll with me.

I would like to get Brutus as a Norn, but then the story wouldnt fit since Brutus cannot become the bear. However, the female toon I make will be of norn since she inherited that from her mom.

Top 3 stories happened in some order for sure: http://mortbane1079ae.wordpress.com/

I'm currently working on a crossover from GW to Aion to GW2, I think I'll use the Norn ancestry to explain how the raven wings reemerged in the bloodline.

I must say there is something charming about winter sylvari in regards to my ice-themed necromancer. I would love to work with that.

I think the game is actually 250 years in the future, not 150. But regardless, I've only thought of the "end" for my main character, and it's basically she dies of old age, but of course her family tree continues to expand to lead into Guild Wars 2.
