I think it's the GW crowd killing it. Or there's something very wrong with their distribution system (or a combination of both...)

Ok i managed to get it downloaded and i happily put my name and email in there ^^
I got the code sent to me and i put it into gw and it said this code is already in use 0_0 I thought that was odd, so i tried again and after a few attempts i managed to get the mini pet :-)
Though it has many problems with the pdf like the embedded flash does not appear so you cant enter your detailed half the time :-S
I do not know much about pdf files and flash things so i don't know how to fix that kind of thing, all i know is i had a window pop up saying would you like to view the multmedia/interactive blah blah blah..you need to tick yes otherwise i notice it wouldnt show and if that box doesnt show up first time the form also wont show!

i got mine after trying for about an hour! tried to get my dad to get me another code for father in law, who's in hospital but he wrote his email wrong So somewhere out there, someone has got a mini pet that will never get used

a) I'll get lots of emails (as i keep trying) with codes and will share with guildies (if thats allowed (no profit just sharing))
or and i'm betting on this option
b) Someone had the great idea of making it check IP's and as i'm in a block of flats i think i share main IP with 755 other students some if just ones done it then poof goes my mini

I only submited 1 request for a code but for some reason I got three seperate emails, at the same address, each with a unique code. I'd give the other 2 away but I am not certain which 1 I used.

Ok, this promotion was bugged on SO many levels... First I get a LOT of "oopses", then it tells me my email is already registered, so I try another, more oopses. At the same time, my poor cousin does the same all accross the world (and it is REALLY late for him). All of a sudden I get around 30 emails to my original address, containing two codes - one is "in use" another is ok, so I am happy.
My cousin gets "in use" key. I try to console him when to my second email a key arrives. Hoping for the best I enter it in my second account (not wanting to get his hopes up) and.... "in use". I refresh my mailbox - yet another key :S I enter it - success!
So now both I and my cousin have a minipet each. And how long did it take me? oh, nothing really, from 19:30 or so till 22:25....
*sigh* At least it ended well.

But it gave me an e-mail address, so I told him to try that, not seen him since he did that, so dunno if it worked. Anyhoo, e-mail address for those who don't know it [email protected]. Just put in the same details as for registration. First name, Last Name, e-mail.

registering for the magazine does nothing. you have to download the pdf file and in the actual ezine there is a form to fill out. i never registered for the ezine and still got a pet code. here is a copy of my one and only email from them:

To activate the Miniature, follow the instructions in the magazine. Do not share
this code with anyone else, as it is only valid once and is uniquely generated
