Hey whenever I lead an alliance or two man group and choose every skillbar everything gets completed first time around with no problems. When I try to lead pugs either I dont get enough players, or everyone just has crap skills and get replaced by heroes and hench.
GW is sooooo easy when I get to play it my way. The only thing that makes it hard is pugs and henchmen with 5 skills and no elite, or better yet a useless elite.

Go to DoA or areas that have a dungeon near them (IE: Doomlore Shrine's Cathedral of Flame). I see a lot of people there wanting to group together. And without heros, that makes me rely on PvE monks, which most the time seem a lot worse then Dunkoro or Tahlkora or Ogden Stonehealer.

In my country just about everyone gets at least a one WEEK vacation once a year and sick leave. This just would make the game more realistic in that henchies need a vactaion also and it's just for one WEEKEND.

That really is the worst PR idea ever!!!
They wouldnt come back, and you would loose half the games population over night. I couldnt stand being forced to PUG for 48 hours. What about those who want to explore, farm, bounty hunt or just do stuff that doesnt require a PUG?

Try to understand that people arent PUGing as a result of their being AI in the game. People dont PUG because a huge % of the community are rude, immature and arrogant. Its not the AI who kill PUGs, its the mentality of the players you PUG with.
I've found my heroes to be more capable then most humans.
If you want to promote PUGs, then try and do a "grow up and treat people with respect" campaign and make people behave in ways that you want to play with then. I can see it now... an entire 2 days of "your not joining my PUG because you wouldnt use the build I told you to".

So you want a weekend where a lot of people won't play? Like a lot of people have already said before, if heroes were taken out of the game people wouldn't start pugging, they would just quit.

1. peoples reactions , how i'd like to see how stressed some people would get by this
2.get others to play with other people in game . most nowadays just get heroes and hench and run off to do their dungeons /quests etc. now before you all shout " that's because players suck" and"everyone else is a noob" i'm just gonna say GW is an ONLINE game , you should try play with others , it's a great way of meeting new people and who knows , you may actually have alot of fun ,

Ah the joys of thread necromancy, and of the worst idea in the history of the game to boot. On some distant level, though, I wish they WOULD do this, just to show all the "OMG HEROZ RUINED TEH GAME" idiots how empty the game would get without them.
Unfortunately for Anet, I think a signficant percentage of those they chased off for the weekend wouldn't ever come back. I know *I* wouldn't.

It's not exactly a good comment on any of the people that supported this idea. If you need AI to be removed from the game to get people to play with you, maybe the problem isn't the AI, it's you.

PvE bores the hell out of me because only a few guildies do anything with me. I went on an infusion run for a friend about 10 minutes ago, picked up some random person for free. Made the run way more fun, someone else to talk to.
