tru bori, well, at least we are not with sky, cos their broadband is just appaling, used to have it, took 3 months to get them to even install it, and they wudnt let us cancel until they had installed =/

I had a peak at WoW forums a mo ago and there doesn't seem to be anybody complaining about the issue, nothing on the website either - but yes I'd be pretty peeved if I was paying for something I couldn't play

Most likely not, not able to use phones but my dad rang up and he had to laugh at their comments when it was plain as day our set up was fine and even pinged their server to show it was down....since then its been mostly downtime, incredible lag of up to 100k but somehow still progress and talk to my friends on gw..who I'm bloody missing after a day :s

Get your dad to ring up cos when we had really bad latency issues for around 6-8 months with them they agreed to reduce our montly bill and give us a one off payment until the issue was resolved. Push them hard enough they always give compensation out, they don't want to risk looking any more custom than they already have

I'm not a Virgin Media customer myself, but some other people are experiencing problems with various things, GMail is one of them. Anyway, here's a ticket that was raised earlier by someone on another forum I frequent.
EDIT: Looks like it's already been posted and is just a random ticket doing the rounds and not raised by the person who first posted it on the other forum.

Hmmm perhaps it was because we threatened to go elsewhere then and actually cancelled are tv and phone services with them that they gave us some compensation

Not to disappoint people but the ticket for my area actually started at 15:16 and said 4 hours then revised at 17:57 and stated another 4 hours. Here I still am
