I've been asked to post this.

Virgin Media have now recognised the issue.

There is currently an issue with the servers in Germany that handle this routing information. Engineers are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and this is to be considered either a Priority 1 (4 hour fix) or priority 2 (8 hour fix).

Virgin Media considers this a critical issue as Online games such as Guildwars are played by a considerable number of their clients, as such it is imperative that such services are available.

This issue will shortly be added to the status page at http://status-cable.virginmedia.com/vmstatus/summary.do where you will be able to find updated information.

Virgin Media apologise for the inconvenience.

It is only the login servers that are the issue. Working on finding the IP's now to the login servers so that they can be resolved correctly.

yep, i got the same problem here, have virgin 2mb broadband, and cant access guildwars or the official site

Yes but if it were a GW issue it's more likely to be resolved a heck of a lot more quickly than if it were Virgin bloody Media sorting the problem out. There was a time we had slow internet speeds and it took them roughly 6-8 months to sort out. Meh :/

lol same, though not quite that long. Turns out they were sharing our "premium" net connection with a student residence close by to us :/

haha, so true, last time our internet went slow and began to randomly disconnect, we had to wait 3 months, and even then they were useless at helping us =/

Issue now on Priority one. Oddly I'm the one holding things up it seems. Can't seem to get anyone in UK NCsoft to pick up the phone, and the US tech people don't start until midday Central (6pm).

The VM tech team are waiting on the Login server IP's before they can fully resolve the issue. Once I have those to pass to them it shouldn't take too long.

Edit: Even tried calling Gaile but no answer
