Don't play any other PlayNC games so I can't check that. Must admit though I thought it's strange that it's only affecting GW and GW related sites but every other site is okay??
EDIT: Have tried Steam and have had no problems with logging onto that. Don't know whether that's relevant though

Same problem here on Virgin Media. However, I do not hate VM... they (NTL before they got swallowed up) have provided me with a very reliable internet connection over the last 4 years, no problems til now, not to mention periodic speed upgrades at no extra cost - from my original 500 (or was it 600Mbit/s) to 4Mbit/s in that time. Compared to the internet "service" I got in the past via BT phone or ISDN lines... they're practically angels.
In fact the stuff involving BT (both as a phone company and as an ISP), their policies, and their so-called "service" accumulated so much, and became so bad... that I deliberately bought a new house that had NTL cable, so that I could have little/nothing to do with BT or their internet infrastructure - even indirectly. (Just about all ADSL broadband ends up going through BT no matter who your ISP is).
By the way, I actually downgraded to 2Mbit/sec recently because it's still way better than I started with and I can get their "4 for 40 quid" deal which is saving me nearly 50 quid/month compared to the combined TV + phone + internet + mobile bills I had before. The only real difference in the services I'm getting is the internet speed, and dropping to 2MBit/sec has made no noticable difference to GW or any of the other internet stuff that I do.

I never had a problem with NTL or Belle Cable Media before them but for me the standard of service has declined rapidly since the takeover by VM also when I phone my service provider I like to be able to understand them and for my name to be at least spoken correctly. Perhaps a UK call centre would help them!
