What is really idiotic from A.net is that they don't sell this mission pack in their store.
There are people (like me) who don't have money or credit card problems, personally I spent 36€ on each of my 2 accounts in the online store (but not in the promotion period).
If there's something I consider worth buying, I PAY real cash and BUY, I'm not used to ask anything for free.
A.net always complain they have no money to spend to correct bugs, add new features and so on.
Now they have a product that can be SOLD and what they do? They give it for free to someone who used their shop in a limited period of time.
I don't see anything strange in a free promotion for some "loyal" customers, what is against every business rule is that they have a sellable product and don't sell it.
They should start selling this mission pack asap, if they wait 2-3 months all the excitement for the new shiny things will have disappeared and the today potential buyers will probably be less and less interested.

Elaborating on that... while anet obviously wanted to make some profit off of the BMP, it was mainly a PROMOTION to encourage use of the online store and to get players enthusiastic about something in guildwars again (not to mention the holiday season).

You see, youre basing your argument all in the wrong places.
What is inherently wrong is that the online store does not work for everyone and not everyone even had the option to get this item for their purchase, as well as the lack of anything to buy!
That was Anet's real failure here.
Giving away something free is cool. Giving away something free without making sure everyone has equal chance, is not.

The promotion was very well known before the release of GW:EN, when PCGamer released its magazine with the Mini Destroyer, all the info was there... and quickly was all on the forum and wiki.

What are the Stats of the weapons? Are they max with no Inscriptions or Mods?
The books and the weapons are both customized, correct? So, the only way to get a weapon is to get it with the character you want to have it?

just a quick question about discoveries, to get them do you need to do the discovery then beat the mission, or can u just discover it then quit and still get the reward? Also, will it tell you that you made the discovery whenever you get it during the mission, or does it wait till the end?

I bought three character slots actually and bought gwen at best buy because i wanted the box.
You knew the rules of the promotion, you didnt follow them, suck it up.
Telling me you paid for all the campaigns etc, has nothing to do with it. You paid for the content in the campaign you bought, that is all they owe you. You had your chance like everyone else, you chose not to take it. Grow up, stop whining and get a life!!!

Example - someone recently discovers Guild Wars, spends a lot of cash on it and then discovers a new (albeit small) piece of the franchise may never be available to them.
