I keep reading about people saying that they have been in multiple guilds and I was just wondering; How many guilds have you been in? I have only been in 2 since I started when Prophecies was released. The first I was in for about 6 weeks when I joined my current Guild. If you have been in multiple guilds; What were your reasons for leaving?
How many guilds have you been in?

4 guilds.
First one was a bunch of RL friends, but then we split when a bunch of them stoped playing.
Second one was a guild that I had while in transit.
Third one I was in for a year and a half before all the drama and inactivity became a big problem.
I'm on my 4th guild, so far so good in this one.

Two.
The old one, the leader was a whining kid who wanted everyone to suddenly drop what they were doing, rush to the guild hall and have a party with him. Even if you were in the middle of a mission. Let's just say, I hope he kept his censor on. Then again, I don't think "sheep" is censored, so he'd have still got my drift.
The second one is mine. Only people I personally know. People can do whatever the hell they want as long as they're not offending anyone or rule breaking.
And everyone in my guild generally moved on to other games... Including myself.

Over nine thousand....
Sorry, couldn't resist.
In reality, 5, one is my own one-man guild.
3 died, after the leader and founder recruited dozens of people, then never logged on again.
1 my own.
And the one I was in for the better part of last year and still am (I hope, haven't logged in in a while).

Four
The first one fell apart. I had quit for awhile and when I came back I was the leader and sole member. I eventually just disbanded it after Factions came out.
The second I was in for a few months. Reasonably large group of fairly active people. We were the alliance leader, but the alliance sucked. We constituted anywhere from 10% to 25% of the alliance, but contributed no less than 60% of the faction most of the time, sometimes nearly 90% of the faction. I quit this one when I took another hiatus.
The third I was in for about 2 days because I had never actually met the leader (she was never on) and the person who recruited me started begging for money the same night she brought me on. I only joined on a whim while meeting someone from GWG to buy an Elite tome. I bought the guild a celestial sigil a few days later for the sake of it.
My current guild is just me. I created it, got me a cape and a hall. Now I'm contemplating filling it. I have no intention of ever recruiting anyone into it.

4 but really 2 only
One when I was a newbie and had like 2 members and left quickly
Another one was a quick leave/join too so these don't really count
Another one with a friend we both joined and no one knew each other and officers were snobs
so we both left and made our own successful guild and it's reaching its 1 year mark.
