rollerbeetle racing highscore cheating?

I notice that the highscore at the momnet is at about 481,000 and I have played many games already and I have not seen 1 person get over 440,000 what are these people doing to get 481,000?

I don't really know to tell you the truth, i was playing this game with a guy who was going faster then everyone the whole game, and he only got like 451,000.

It REALLY helps to get the super rollerbug thing, #8 on the build.

I was thinking the same thing i have only gotten up to 450K but i was in a game where one guy got 462K and he was done before anyone was even half done

One of these options:

1) They got REALLY lucky, and only got SRB/Echo's, WITHOUT ANY KD/Rubberband... (Highly Unlikely seeing how hard it is to even get 1 SRB in a match)

2) They "hacked" the client (I have NO clue if "what the box" gives you is serverbased or client based. But I do know however that there still are people out there that can manually DC someone. It actually happened to me not to long ago... (I have NO clue how they do it, but they can)

3) They are friends/testers or whatever position you can have which would give you the powers to just "enter" the scores...

4) They got so lucky EVERYONE left/errored, ending up in a 1v1, solo race...
I HIGHLY doubt it is Nr1, seeing how I have NO life (Atleast I admit), and I prolly did over 500 Beetle racing's, and in NONE, I got more than 3 SRB's...

Also, please don't say it's skill. Skill can't get you a speed buff/anti KD, can it?

Those who get the luckiest with the strong combination of powerups, in addition to having the knowhow to move on the track perfectly, in addition to not getting hit at all during the race, are going to be the only ones in the top 100.

It is also possible that they have friends on their team who agree not to hit each other. Or that they get all players to agree to not hit each other; cooperation like that would make everyone have a much better chance to get a high score, but most players are unfortunately too dumb to realize this and thus that is generally not something that would happen often with a group of strangers.

If it was all luck how can one guy have be on the list 35 times out of the top 100

This may be a clone kinda to the whole cheating thread but I also noticed that there is two specific people who have about half of the records to themselves.

Whats up with these guys? I been beetle racing SINCE 3 PM! (noon pacific when it started) and only took a break to walk to the liquor store 2 blocks away, 10 minutes. Now in a race a 3 superbeetles and not being hit once I was able to finish with 455. they are constantly having high 460's and up.

I heard this term a few days ago so i'll just say it.... load syncing? I'm sorry but nobody is lucky enough to have 20+ races in the top 100.

I hope anet takes a look at those scores and not turn a blind eye. Maybe they should make it that you can only recieve one mini? If you happen to beat your old record it replaces the record instead, the old one erases.

Apparently they're very skilled. And serious. About their business.

They only get 1 mini pet even if they have all 100 top scores. But I agree with you Fox.

They dominate the game so they're the only ones who get the mini>sell at High price(more like scam)>0_o.

IMO you should be allowed only one spot in the top 100 per account.

It obviously isn't luck, I think those people just figured out how to get top times without even getting an echo + super rollerbeetle combo. The people that completely relied on box-camping and constantly leaving races to get the right combo can't do that anymore, so the players that really know how to use only the core skills to get top times are going to be more successful.

Seriously, one guy has 33 spots on the list. He owns one-third of the list. Thats 32 more people that could have the prize. It's is as much his fault as Anet's, but obviously this pig isn't going to stop because of my QQing, so Anet, it seriously cannot be that hard to use a different system to pull the top 100 people. And it could be applied to all the challenge mission ladders too.

And I thought that the lack of box-camping would reduce the b.s. surrounding the rollerbeetle racing. Boy was I wrong.

I disagree with you on your original post, and the second sentence of this post I'm quoting.

It is possible to get up to 482k points with ONLY 1 ECHO and 1 super rollerbeetle. My 2 high scores of 481k were just that. I'm not sure how they get so many high scores though, that's pretty good consistency of getting SRB's, and especially considering you can't /resign or X out anymore cuz of dishonor points.

Did you not get knocked down at all?
