Don't be lazy, and enough have been revealed to go find them yourself too. Or how about not leeching on other work and find some new areas yourself!

Hey, guys, here's a tidbit of info for you. Unfortunately, yesterday’s build included older, unfinished versions of the art for the Draconic Aegis and the Emerald Sword. We’ll get the corrected art into a live build shortly. So look for that sword and shield to change a little in the future. There is a third item that was also fixed, but that has not been found yet, so I’m not sayin’ a word.

But that item will also be updated very soon, too.

I really like these new items. I want to meet up with someone to get a look at all of them. (And yes, I admit it, I am especially fond of the Froggie Sceptor! <3 )

Yeah. The emerald sword looks fine as is. Hopefully the changes are cosmetic only, like with Cynn's dress.

can we put that on the login page announcement on guild wars? too many people need reminding of exactly what you just said, and i am sick of repeating myself to all the whiners that keep telling me time>skill

the only one imho that doesnt look as good as the concept (from the limited picks i have seen) is the demonic shield which i imagine would be impossible to get it to look like the concept art anyway.

Geez, even though I like the skins, these versions do not do the drawings justice at all. The Demonic Aegis is basically 2D when the entire shield was supposed to be 3D. The same can be said about the celestial compass, which is a 2D drawing as well. Not to mention the cruddy lack of attribute variation, they should come in all attributes.

Now, personally i can't complain about those, but the one thing is can't tolerate is the emerald blade, again they made this look WAY too short just like they did with the destroyer sword. I first looked at the drawing and fell in love with it, its a glamored up version of the runic blade IMHO, which should be roughly the same in height, but they horibly messed it up, making it look like absolute crap, since the hilt is the only thing they got right, the blade itself should be longer! Maybe im wrong (haven't seen it ingame) but from the pic, it looks tiny....

The crown achievement however, is DEFINATELY the draconic shield, whoever designed it was the only person to do the shield justice. Everything pops and its just plain beautiful. Pity its only tactics, but I can't complain about the shield itself.

At least they aren't insanely overfarmed and worthless mere hours after discovery. It may change when better sources will get posted to public for some, but I expect at least a couple of the new goodies to remain rare and valuable.

Shame that none of the new weapons don't drop exclusively in the non-inscription lands. Prophecies could really use a new rare exclusive drop that would keep value forever.

But still well done, rare drops FTW. Too many common worthless junk around, so good to see new rare valuable and demanded pieces.

Ok i apologize to ANET, i didn;t know it was unfinished, but you know we could of waited a little more

. I think a guildie of mine found the other item i think he said it was a reaver axe or something, at first i though stygian reaver he was thinking about, but i remain uncertain. The Draconic Aegis is already beautiful so i think modding it more would be sweet. Emerald sword should be modded to be the same length as teh runic blade, if so im the first one getting that sword (jk im proabably going to be buying it in like 3-4 months at req 13 for cheapness XD.)

EDIT: Thats right the serpentine reaver was it, nvm :P

Since it sounds like they are going to replace the art in the DAT file, I'd say they are going "Pinocchio" on us. (Just keep lying to you weapons!) It's auto-magic!

Gaile said the Emerald Blade and Draconic shield are being updated, because older versions of their models were accidentally used. Not sure how true the part about the length being increased is, but I do hope that is the case, because I agree that it is far too short.

But the older versions will be completely replaced by the new ones.

They will more then likely replace all of the skins(post and per update) not just post update drops.

Here's the skinny on those items: The Emerald Sword was judged to be a little too short, so it will be updated and will be presented at a more impressive length. The Dragonic Aegis (shield) had some glare on it, and some clipping issues. I'm sure you'll be pleased that both will be addressed.

Those who have the items will see them improved with the update. They won't be stuck with the old model.

That third item? I'm not going to say a word, but you guys have some great theories!
