just got a serpentine reaver farming colbalt in The Mirror of Lyss. I cleared the area 3 times before getting it.

It seems that most of the new skins are becoming pretty common, compared to last time they added skins. Anyone know if these are the only ones?

Draconic, Obsidian and Emerald are not that common at the moment.

Emerald is the least common, but all the rest are common as go search them on guru. Too many been out for such few days.

Yeah, High End is flooded with Draconics and Obsidians. It's the other ones that aren't as common, but I guess that's because everyone is farming the other 2...

But for being so common they're so damn expensive.

But yeah I guess you're right, they're certainly dropping faster than past weapons.

So far it looks like the serpentine reaver is the only weapon that is dropped by monsters

Like most items, people don't want to accept that there are more of them than they hope. So they are just trying to keep the prices up as long as they can, regardless of the numbers. In a day or 2 I imagine the prices will more than halve...

It's too bad the lockpick retention rate is so broken that it's cheaper to buy some of these items even at the current high prices than it is to find them yourself....

I think the main problem with those ones is that no one is really sure where to get them, and so many people want them, so they're willing to throw out the cash for them. With so many people farming them, I doubt they'll stay expensive for very long, especially once the excitement dies down.

I haven't been farming any of the new weapons yet - they look pretty good but I can wait till one drops in time or the price goes down. I have been doing a few other farming runs instead and noticed a very high rate of golds and lockpicks. 4 golds and 2 lockpicks from a single elemental run - I've never had that before. Other farm areas have been exceptional for me too. I suspect they boosted the rare/lockpick drop rate for the weekend to make sure these new weapons got distributed fairly quickly.

Another side benefit of this weekend - I noticed onyx gemstones and diamond are taking a nose dive and will probably continue to do so as people farm for the new weapons over the next couple of weeks. So if you are still looking to get the materials for destroyer weapons, now would be a good time to stock up.

I think the only confirmed new item to drop from a monster is the Serpentine Reaver which drops in Vabbian areas.

They will be. As others have said there's a lot of the first 2 in high end, and emerald is just suffering from deep secrecy about its whereabouts. Probably some long dungeon that people want to farm enough to get an r9.

i think he means that when he entered the loading screen for the final level of the catacombs there were 3 new files to be downloaded. I had the same thing when i entered the final level of Bogroot Growths as theyve added the Frog Scepter to the end chest.
