Why don't they implement the new skins all at once ?
It would take longer to find their locations since we can only focus on one weapon at a time when searching. Both Frog Wand, Serpentine Reaver and the two shield have been found a few hours after release. Way to fast imho.

At the rate most of these are dropping try within the month. Voltaic and eternal blades are still more scarce,than any of these weapons or shields.

Very nice! That's cuz it is longer than b4. Obsidian Edge was one of the new weapons that was updated to be longer on March 7th.

Wow, the Obsidian Edge is nice. Too bad it can't be dyed... Texmod can fix that! When they become cheap I might get one and mod it to be silver with coloured accents.

I will also confirm that Catacombs of Kathandrax drops the sword because my guildie got one last night (r10 deathbane, so not inscribable). The dungeon takes ~35 minutes to H/H in Normal, so anyone who wants the sword can easily go attempt a few times.

Also, deathbane doesnt mean it is going to be uninscribable. If you want proof just pm me.

Oh wow that obsidian blade looks really nice after the update.

Though I cant figure out why they are selling for so much..... they seem to be much more common then the other weapons.

I finally seen a Emerald Blade in hand of someone, and I just have to say I am pretty disappointed. The skin looks like it is hard plastic, barely any shine to it at all, and no animations that are visible... I have my graphics pretty much max with Post Processing on, so that ain't case. It is still kind of medium sized too... which I also don't like. I hope they have another update to change the skin to something that would glow and be chromed out or something. Not sure what emerald is supposed to look like, but it definately don't look like anything special... Dull lookins sword and big disappointment so far.

Did Kathandrax earlier and didn't get it, but there was an update upon entering the third floor, so it seems likely it is there. Would be nice if someone could post a better picture, we've still only seen that one crappy pic..

I don't think they changed the color at all, just the length. In the new picture he is in souther shiverpeaks. In the old one it was from Kryta.
Different areas of the game have VERY different ambient lighting that can change the shading.

hard to say where he went but i don't think it's the lighting making the sword that dark. I just checked and most of the shiverpeaks are fairly bright on weapons even if the sky is dark.
