a guy that was selling an emerald blade told me (had to bribe him with 2k lol) that he got it in the kathandrax dungeon i went their and had to load some new files although i didnt get anything...

Loaded 3 files in Kathandrax, saw 1 drop for a person in our group out of the chest, no screenies, sorry, my comp shutoff, the fan got RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOed up.

I used Hayda as a Party Support (PvXwiki Great Build) Paragon, Vekk as a hybrid between Air Magic and Earth Magic, with Maelstrom (0 water magic) to shutdown casters. His skills were Shock Arrow, Lightning Orb, Blinding Surge, Ward Against Melee, Maelstrom, GoLE, Air Attune, Death Pact Sig. And finally, Livia as a N/Rt healer, I took the two warrior henchmen, and the 2 monk henchmen. Surprising, I ran into basically no trouble at all. Barbs + the 4 physical attackers dropped each Regent of Flame in around 4 seconds (+ the sin), even the wurms dropped in less than 10 seconds. Pretty fun actually. Got a Hypnotic Staff though

I notice the first few days the new items drop rate is high. But then they set to xtreme low as they did to eternal blade.

i usually take along some guildies/alliance members and they get the drops...atleast i get to see them actually drop.
but it hasnt stopped me trying..

On topic, My hubby and I did Kathandrax earlier and no emerald blade. (Not that I expected one, but... I was hoping! )
I've also opened about 40ish chests in Dalada and Grothmar, and no luck there.

I'm rather disappointed in the very dull appearance of the Emerald Blade. I was expecting it to have the shine of a Longsword, but I was gravely mistaken.
I will also confirm that Catacombs of Kathandrax drops the sword because my guildie got one last night (r10 deathbane, so not inscribable). The dungeon takes ~35 minutes to H/H in Normal, so anyone who wants the sword can easily go attempt a few times.
